how work uv lamp for cleaning air?with convert o2 to o3?(oxygen to ozone)?

The UV kills all bacteria and virus . It does not change O2 to O3. O3 is the true ozone and is not real stable but very bad for u to breath, The news media sometimes confuse the ozone down here that is caused by cars is actually NO2 . It is actually a fertilizer.
