Explanation: Would God trust ordinary men-who could sin- by the holy responsibility of preaching His words?

If you say yes, doesnt that go against the holyness of the messages brought by Moses and the like?

In Islam, prophets are described as 'maasoom'. meaning: innocent

they are like children

not sinners like Christianity claims

Lets examine the lives of these prophets..did Muhammad sin? The Qu'ran does tell Muhammad to pray for forgiveness. the Hadiths also show that Muhammad did pray of forgiveness. It is my understanding that Muhammad was unaware of his salvation. Would God punish a righteous man? God alone is righteous and without sin it is Jesus Christ that overcame temptation and sin and death and it is only because he is the righteous Son of God.
We have accounts of sins by all of the prophet and all men have sinned it is the reason Christ came to this world as a man to reunite sinful man with a righteous God. It is the reason Jesus taught no man comes to the Father but through the Son. If not for the atonement all of us perish in our sin. God alone is righteous and man has fallen from the glory of God but God in his mercy does restore his creation to his righteousness through the atonement he provided,

The Prophets were just like you and me.

Moses did sin...he brought water from the stone (when God said no).

God trusted Moses to be Moses...Moses, God saw, would be the right tool for the job (preaching His words). It doesn't go against the holyness of the message. God knew Moses would be a good messenger...the message itself was God's.

Actually, the most sinful people on the planet may convey a true and holy message at times...as God wills.

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God- but God allows us to choose to follow and obey Him. God desires to make us holy as He is holy. Though we are sinners, because He loves us and because He has provided forgiveness and redemption we can carry His Holy Spirit inside of us, live sanctified and set apart lives, and carry His message.
Even Mary needed a savior- not one walked perfect Torah, God's perfect instruction, in perfect obedience except for Jesus. It is a false teaching that Mary was perfect. Mary was a chosen vessel just as was Moses and Noah, and Abraham and all others God called to carry his message and do His works.
If the prophets and even Mary were not sinners, then their would be no need for a savior- saying that there are those that can attain holiness aside from the work of salvation and redemption at the cross blasphemes and mocks what Jesus did on the cross. The cross would not have been necessary because it would be possible for us all to attain perfect godliness. Because of our sin nature , we are seperated from God- it is not all about the works but the attitudes and thoughts of the heart- only through Jesus can we be forgiven and cleansed of this . The prophets and even Mary were given promise of this salvation and looked forward to it, putting their faith in God and in His promise and were saved through this faith , just as we are saved looking back to the fulfilment of His promise

Yes, the Prophets were sinners also.

You see, even though they were under the Influence Of the Holy Spirit, they still had free will.

The only person in recorded history who is known never to have sinned, besides Christ Jesus, is His Blessed Mother.

It is not the messenger that is holy, but the message. God is always in control of his message. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God except God himself. Jesus is God; therefore, Jesus never committed a sin and cannot commit a sin in his resurrected state. God cannot sin against himself, nor can he sin against his creation because he is the Creator.

Not sure about Christianity, but from what I've read, in Islam prophets are not sinless except where they have become aware of their wrongdoings and corrected them. These people were chosen because of their recognition and desire towards the spiritual but they are as human as the rest of us.

What do you mean would God trust them. He would know what they will do.
The message would be inspired by God and we can trust it.
