I didn't have one. My son has no Dad at all. So I will just give an opinion.
A special Dad is there for his kids. He teaches them about life as well as fun things. He is there for advice and a shoulder to cry on. He is there to help pay the bills and give Mom a break occasionally. He offers love and patience tempered with discipline.
