Is it normal for a guy to keep a journal/diary about old girlfriends and events gone by?

I dated this guy who had a ton of old date books stacked on his bookshelf with all kinds of stuff in it including juicy details about sex he had and just everyday stuff.

It's probably not typical, but I see nothing wrong with it. Everyone keeps their own memories in different ways.

Not usual at all. Kind of weird and creepy.

It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of it is fiction.

I don't even keep a regular journal,
