I'm 20, and I usually like younger guys. Anywhere from 16-18. My mother says it's not acceptable to girls to date younger guys. I'm usually mistaken for being younger too. What are some other opinions on this?

There are plenty of younger girls who have older boyfriends, and nothing happens to them. It's not like I want to have sex with them, I just want to date. Most guys that are older just aren't as cute or playful.

90% of the time I act 16, I just get along better and are more comfortable around younger people.

Dating younger men is fine. Dating boys is not. Make sure they are over 18.

The youngest you should date is 18, You could get in seriuos trouble with a 16 or 17 year old, so just stick with 18 and up.

I think it's fine for you to date younger guys. I would make sure they are out of high school though. For some reason, peoples' mentality changes some after they graduate.
so date guys from 17(if they graduated then)-19 since u like younger ones.

When I was 17, I started dating a 22 year old guy.
Yes, yes, we were discriminated, my parents were furious... blah blah blah.....whatever.... we are still together today (been 10 years). We are married and have a beautiful daughter.
I am now 27 and he's 32.... do you think that are age matters now ??
It's only illegal if this person is younger than 16.

I think you should date guys who are 18 and older. 18 year-olds are either finishing or have graduated high school, and you will find older guys a little bit more mature than 16-18 year olds.

at your age now, date only guys 18 and older. as you get older then you can date guys younger than you but just as long as they are over 18. does that make sense? My babys daddy is 9 years younger than myself. good luck

If sex is involved, 18 would be your minimum legal age requirement. What is really puzzling is why any 20 year old woman would want to date a 16 year old kid.

Your mom is right its against the law for you to date a 16 teen year old try to find guys your own age there are plenty of them

I go along with your mother's ideas. You need to date guys your age or a couple yrs. older. Enjoy younger people in group settings.
