Possible but unlikely. My parents started dating, I believe, when they were 15 and 17, and have been married for nearly 35 years (they're 58 and 60 now). But by FAR most high school relationships die, if not in high school, very shorty thereafter.

If I understand your question correctly, you are asking if a 14 year old can stay with a 16 year old forever...? It is possible, but there is still a lot of growing up to do still before making that kind of a commitment. Why push things so fast?

it's possible but unlikely. at those ages, there is so much of life ahead of you that it's really cheating yourself to be limited to just that one person for those years. you're so young, but not at all incapable of feeling love. you still have high school and all the drama that comes with it, and college after that. the world is huge, and so full of amazing people that the best thing to do is just be happy with the situation as it is, and let it ride out in its natural way. i know what it feels like...when i was 16 i had a boyfriend who was 15, and i loved him. when we broke up i thought my life was over. now that that was nearly 10 years ago, i marvel at the fact that i was so upset. i think "what did i think was going to happen? that we were going to get married? that that was IT for me?" it most certainly wasn't. i just celebrated my 5th anniversary with the world's most amazing man. but the most important thing is to experience life and meet new people all the time. you never know what's going to happen, and you can't control it. good luck, and remember, the world is out there for you.

It could happen, my parents started dating at 14.. and they got married at 20, and have 4 kids together and have been together for 25 years. It's extremely highly unlikely though. so, don't get your heart broken.

Possibly! My mother was 16 & my father was 21. They've been married 55yrs. But now-a-days???

sure...my best friends started dating when they were about that age...and they are still married after 25 years!! they have been together for a very long time. it all depends if you both work on it...:)
