It's pretty well equivalent to two wrongs don't make a right....I guess it depends on the two sickies involved... if they are both disfunctional and feeding each other's disfunction instead of seeking to heal each other and themselves, they will remain sick, ...sometimes each has something the other needs and if they are both commited to healing themselves and each other, that might be another matter, but if they just expect to make up for each other's lack, that doesn't equate to one well ("whole") person, though they may think so..... In a situation like that if both are sickies, that if only one desires to improve his lot, and the other does not, he will not be healed until out of the relationship with the other, as the other will demand to be fed, and hold back the one who is trying to heal....I think I've just confused myself......

My opinion is that it is not necessarily true. If one is sick because he needs an organ transplant and the other sickie dies and donates his organs, viola!, one wellie made.

Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do.
