Silly, silly, silly, silly. I'd have to go with 3. The FSM is a sarcastic answer to religion being integrated into secular matters, not an actual belief, but you already knew that.
As for the sensitivity, you may be onto something, but they'll never admit it. It's against their religion to do so.

excellent point.
as to the first part I just think they are all silly.
And as to what words I use to describe those people--
none of the above--just different.
It is perfectly ok to me if you really truly believe in the FSM just as it is ok to me if you seriously believe in horoscopes. I just find each to be more of an amusement.
However I would use those words to describe someone who not only believed Zeus was the one true god, and in the true story of LOTR--IF they decided that Zeus/FSM told them to spend their entire life shoving it in my face. It doesnt bother me at all if you live your life by The Spaghetti Doctrine, but don't try to convince the rest of us that you know some important secret, and will be eternally blessed with spaghetti. Then I'd have a problem with it. I dont care if they believe in silly things--but when they believe such nonsense as their FSM god will eternally punish me if I dont eat spaghetti each week for the rest of my life--then yeah, words like delusional, illogical and irrational come to mind.

To me, all of these beliefs have the same likelihood of being true. However, I don't think anyone is accurately described with your adjectives, excet perhaps illogical and irrational, regardless of what they truly believe. I believe there is no god; others believe there is a god. No need to attack people, even if they have attacked you in the past. Let it go, move on, and live your life as best as you know how. Good luck.

I am not offended by anyone's lack of understanding regarding my personal beliefs, in fact I understand very well where they are coming from. The problem is that the atheist's point of view is purely from an intellectual standpoint while the Christian uses both an intellectual standpoint and an experiential standpoint. I am a Christian because I have felt God, physically tangible. I have no doubts He exists because I know Him, I have spoken to Him, and He has answered. This is why I cannot be swayed and you cannot relate.
My conversion experience changed who I was inside, it changed how I acted on the outside, it affected decisions and thoughts. My life is on a very different path and I am grateful. Atheists ask for a proof that cannot be given until you believe on faith, a conundrum to be sure but that is the situation.

None of the above except for Lord of the Rings. That is 2. The others are plausible.

properly, Bob, you replied your own question except you gave credit to the incorrect crew. "Infidel is an ecclesiastical time period in Christianity----it may have examine ecclesiastical time period in Catholicism---huge distinction in being Christian and Catholic. The Church isn't the authority of Christianity in basic terms Jesus is the authority. If one is outdoors the religion of Catholics, it does no longer recommend they are out of religion interior of Christianity. i'm useful in the course of the 1200 years from the time the Catholic church grow to be depending by Constantine the great in ad 313 the church stumbled on many events to confer with the resisting Christians whom they call by different names yet highly heretics, AnaBaptist and in all likelihood infidels at the same time as killing over 50 million of them. look the human options extra kindly settle for killing at the same time as they could use words meant to be derogatory--heretics, anabaptist, infidels, waps, Japs, *******, racist yet settle for time period which include Nazi, Priest, Bishops and Popes or Imperial jap and such. So maximum in all likelihood the Christians do no longer confer with human beings as infidel is in rebellion to the Catholics for one, and the time period infers something so very undesirable---we desire the time period Jesus chosen for those self same human beings--the lost. in case you're lost it infers there is an chance you are able to properly be stumbled on---little desire is conveyed by the point period infidel--it truly is variety of a form, once utilized it won't be able to be bumped off, at the same time as being lost is a implied momentary condition exhibiting there is desire.

I always knew how atheists view Christianity, I don't really care either, religion is personable, and I'm sorry but the only person to understand that is the person themselves.
But no matter what you say the d*mn flying spaghetti monster is real and it'll eat you if you don't repent.

I'm a devoted Christian and I am not offended that atheists and others who do not believe as I do attack me- The cross is foolishness to those that are perishing- Christians cannot expect those who do not know Jesus to act or think like those that do- And I truly am sorry that so many that profess to be Christians are not very good representatives of Christ- As for me, I am not swayed- God has done TOO much in my life for me to reject Him and I will gladly seem foolish for His sake- Afterall, He was mocked, spit upon, and made fun of for me!!!!
