The best in the market is NOT the cheapest.

If you want poor sound and picture, with lousy build quality and poor reliablity, then buy cheap. If you actually want to enjoy your movies and recordings, it will cost around £200-£250 for a decent DVD HDD recorder.

Remember - "Buy cheap, buy twice".
