well i know that you can get tattoos of pictures but my child was never born so i would like to get a sonogram tattoo.i also never knew the sex of my baby so thats why i want a tattoo of my sonogram! please help if you have information on shop that do it it will be very much appreciated! thanks smalllfry2005kathi

You can get a tattoo of anything. There is a place called Miami Ink that has a television show devoted to tattoo's. Some lady got a tattoo of a GRILLED CHEESE on her chest! If they can do that, they can do anything. I would think about it first though, it sounds like you may have some deep emotional scars. Don't put another scar on you're skin before you know you can handle it.

I've seen them done well but the artist has to have real skill with blank and grey work otherwise it will seem very flat and more stamp like. Take the sonogram and visit some shops, look at portfolios and discuss what your expectations are with the tattoo artists. You may have to look for a while to find the right artist. Don't get discouraged and just keep plugging. I think its a great idea and I wish the Dr. Phil armchair therapist wannabes would shut their pie-holes. Good luck!

it's definitely possible but it may not be a very recognizable tattoo. you would need to find an extremely talented artist to pull that off but it is a good idea. at how many weeks was the sonogram taken? the later in the pregnancy the more likely it would be to have a more clear image of a baby. good luck!

The best way to find out is call a few tattoo shops. They are probably going to have to see the picture first and try a few things. Good luck

ummmm...not a good idea from the stand point of it being black and white for the most part. get a symbol that means basically the same thing, stands for your loss if you get my point.

any tattoo place should make any tattoo u want, drugs, sex, osama, anything, just give em the picture u want them to do

i've seen it done... but not well.. the shadowing and coloring is really hard to get right... i would really look into it and see work done before you go through with it it's a very tricky tatoo to do .

it you find a talented protrait artist then anything is possible call your local shops- even go and see their portfolios...good luck and i'm sorry for your loss- i know how it feels.

I think you should seriously talk to a psychologist before doing something like this. This smacks of post-miscarriage depression and do you really need this on you? Do you really need to be reminded of it constantly?
