Look up "diaper cake". You make a 3 tier (spelling) "cake" out of diapers, than add little baby items. You can put a bottle in the middle of the top tier. Look it up, they have pictures and instructions. Also it can be used as a cute centerpiece at the shower. Good Luck!

Option #1-- a basket filled with all the little things nobody ever thinks to buy from the registry. Soothers, wipes, rattles, teethers, bottles, replacement bottle nipples, things like that. Put it all in a nice basket.
Option #2-- DIAPERS. SOOOO awesome to get diapers at a shower... makes life easier the first month or two, not having to worry about diapers...
Option #3- gift card- I suggest a VISA card that is pre loaded with $--- so she can use it anywhere she needs to. She can use it for diapers, wipes, baby meds, or something to pamper herself with...
Option #4-- this can be added to the other gift you get her- get a few personalized coupons made for a free hour of babysitting each coupon, or a free load of dishes, etc.
Option #5-- THIS is one gift I got that I ADORED at my shower--- a few friends all put in some $ and got me a gift certificate for Molly Maid. It was SO nice not having to do much housework the first month my son was home, I had a maid come once a week to deep clean everything, so all I had to do was dishes and general tidy up every day.... it was AWESOME.
Good luck with your choice- I'm 31 weeks preg and my shower is this weekend, and I PRAY I get a molly maid again, haha!

I threw my best friend a baby shower and I got her a gift card hahah. BUT One of our other friends had this really cute, quick and easy idea. She went to Walmart and found their fabric section. She bought a couple yards of character fleeze I think it had pooh on it, and then a couple yards or plain colored fleece that matched. You put the two together and use pins to hold it in place. You cut the end all the way around and then tie them together. It is so cute and easy and it is something made by hand that she will find very special. Sounds confusing I guess.. but I have added a site that had instructions and on instruction #1 there is a pictures link to help you see what I mean haha. Hope you find a great gift :)

Give her a gift card or maybe make a big basket filled with all the small things on her registry that have not been purchased yet, honestly just throwing a shower alone is gift enough and if she is as kind as you I'm sure shell appreciate the baby shower just as much as she would appreciate any gift she receives

I have the most amazing diaper bag. It is a seat belt bag made by Harvey's and you can find it at seatbeltbags.com. It is stylish and functional.
If that is not an option, a baby sling is a great gift. It can hold a baby in a number of different positions through the 1st year. Cradle them while they are infants, sit up when they are about 4+ months and then support them on your hip until you are ready to quit carrying them around. I love my baby sling!

Something useful! For me, I've got tons of people already offering me baby clothes, so I won't need that for gifts, but I'll need a hygene kit, medical supplies, a baby bath, crib and basinet sheets, diapers, the diaper trash bin, a baby bag...and you can also never go wrong by getting something to spoil the mom with like a really nice comfy nursing night gown.

I'm not sure where you live or if there is a Build-a-Bear near you, but with only 5 days left it may be difficult to accomplish this. I gave my best friend a build a bear with the sound of the baby's heartbeat inside. You'll have to ask your sister to get the heartbeat on tape first. But dont tell her why. So for the time being you could get her a gift card or save it for the day the baby is born.

Gift cards are great but my mother use to tell me they are a little impersonal though I love them I can use them on whatever I want and now Visa-American express have them so you can use them at ANY store. Also Diapers! Most ppl run out and get all the "big ticket"items or tons of clothing but no one buys diapers and you'll use those diapers more then you use any item on that registry
If your thinking diapers check out 1800diapers.com they do diaper cakes they are so cute!

Without knowing how much you're spending limit is, I think this is a pretty cool idea. Go onto amazon.com or 1800diapers.com and have a case of diapers delivered to her house every couple of weeks for the first few months. She'll love not having to run out to the store to get them, and you can even get wipes delivered with them too.

A gift card is always nice! I wish thats all I would have gotten! Though, they do not seem to have much "meaning" to them, if you want it to look like you actually put time and effort into her gift, maybe buy a cute little wagon (or basket) and put a bunch of things inside of it, like baby lotions, washes, diapers, picture frames, gift certificates, etc. One gift that I really enjoyed was a gift certifcate to a spa, to get a day of pampering, like a body massage and pedicure.... its nice when you are carrying another human inside of you to get a relaxing day of pampering!
