LOL been there done it! They cant find out and its not good business to call customers lairs. So kids are bigger or smaller then others. They go on your word, I dont think its fair they charge so much more after a certain age but the child still cant ride the same rides. I think they should change by how tall the child is, its more fair then their way. Oh by the time your child turns 5 dont let them hear you lie, beside setting a bad example they will correct you in front of them! Its embarrassing to say hes 4 and your child say no im not mommy im 6.

I have never done it but I have been standing in line behind groups of ppl that I have over heard tell the kids "if she asks your ___" and I even heard one kid say "Mom how old am I today" lol

I did once get offended at seaworld when I went to pay for everyone (we visited seaworld atleast 2 dozen times per season) and the woman asked me "does that include her" referring to my handicapped daughter and I looked at her and said "YES IT DOES IS THERE A PROBLEM THAT YOU HAVE" and she calmy said "she gets in half price all handicapped persons do" and I was so embarrassed by my actions. Also I didnt know that and I had been taking her to seaworld for 11yrs paying full price

Also if you can not afford the full price often theme parks run coupons on their websites or in travel books. If you order offline and print them at home they can be cheaper too. I took all the kids to Disney in 2004 ordered offline and saved over 200 dollars doing it. And travel agents even have savings codes if you go through them and ask about "speical discounts"

honestly free. Disney starts charging for them at age 3 which i imagine is distinctly ridiculous. in the journey that they were slightly smarter that they had get a lot extra mom and father to the parks with their little ones and make a lot extra money off the figure's foodstuff, room, park passes and souvenirs in the journey that they did no longer ought to pay for his or her 3 or 4 3 hundred and sixty 5 days olds. i have in many circumstances going on of many mom and father who opt to stay away till their newborn is older fairly than plunk down all that money at a time they sense their children are too youthful to take excitement in it besides. personally i recognize little ones of each and all ages can take excitement in Disney. we've traveled there with ours assorted circumstances from the time she develop into 11 months old.

i have had the opportunity to do this and didnt i will not teach my child that its ok to lie. i refuse to teach my child bad behavior. i will pay the money and teach my child honesty,

to those who think you cant be caught you can be. the park has employees every where and remember even if the park doesnt catch you God saw the crime.

so much for integrity, you know doing whats right when no ones looking. why would you want to commit a felony. lying about your childs age is exactly that a felony since your basically stealing goods and services. parents like you disgust me

I am really shocked that so many parents say they have done this. Not only is it wrong, but it sets a really bad example for your kids that lying is okay if it's for the sake of saving money. What kind of message is that? And don't think they won't find out that you've done this. Kids are a lot smarter than you think.

It wasn't at Disney, but my parents told me and a friend to say we were 12 when we 14 so we could get to another theme park cheaper. Nobody ever caught us. How would they? Would the ticket people follow you around the park to see if you slipped and said your real age?

my son is still a little to young to do this.but i don't think i would do it only because it confuses a child when you are trying to teach them wrong from right and it just tacky i think if you can't afford it don't go just save money until you Can that's what my mom always did. she said its not fair to those who follow certain rules and she said it would make us look cheap and tacky . but i think it up to the person.some people say it just doing what you got to do to be able to take kids places. but i think I'll just save enough money so i don't have to put myself or my kids in that sort of thing because if you don't have you don't get it
but i know allot of people who would do this i once went to a out door concert and kids under 11 got in free and i was with a friend and her family they made us say we where 11 so they would not have to pay the 2 dollars each for us to get in. i felt uncomfortable because i knew my mom taught me better then to rip off the system and rules but to each there own i guess

I have never done this with my kids but my dad use to do it with us all the time. My sisters and I have always looked younger than we are, so my dad took that advantage, but he always had to tell us before hand to keep our mouths shut as he knew would say something. Then one year when we went to Disney, my uncle and his family lived in Florida so my dad had my Uncle buy us kids tickets so we could get in cheaper.

I would do it. Most of the places are two and under around my area. My son is only two and though he may like some of the things he doesn't really understand it yet and also not getting the full experience. So I would definitely do it.
