as long as you otherwise qualify for BAH, you will get it, whether you own or rent or live in your mother's basement free.
BUT keep in mind that BAH changes every time you PCS, so make sure you can cover the mortgage should you PCS somewhere and are unable to sell it. many people rent their home sout.

Assuming you already qualify for BAH (In the Marines you must be either E5 or higher, or be married) you will still get it if you buy a house. That's kind of the point of it! It is a Basic Allowance for Housing. Doesn't matter if you buy or rent. As long as you have to pay for you living quarters, you get it!

depends on how much your BAH is and how much your MOrtage payments are. I get like $800 a month for BAH so if my Mortage was $425 i would pocket the other $375. Its nice but watch out for scams also in buying a house...they got me and im Military. They tell you this, tell you that and then it doesnt happen and your out $1500 it happened to me. Just be careful, Good Luck!

Yes, BUT you will only get BAH if you are eligible for BAH in the first place. You don't just get BAH for buying a house.

As long as you are in the military and live off base and are entitled to BAQ (Basic Allowance for Quarters), then you'll get it. If you spend it on rent, the purchase of a house, an RV or whatever, it doesn't matter.

OF COURSE !! You just use your BAQ and VHA to pay your MORTGAGE instead of RENT !!
BAQ = Basic Allowance, Quarters (1990s Navy).
VHA = Variable Housing Allowance (a area-based addition to BAQ to compensate for high cost-of-living areas like San Diego, New York, Washington DC...)
I did it twice... bought first house in San Diego... ended up giving it to ex-wife, and then used it again on a LARGE boat that WAS my residence !!
I JUST used my VA Housing loan this last year

Yes.
But why would you buy if you are in the military? Are you aware that they can cut new orders for you at any time? What would you do with a house? They won't change your RNLT date just because you can't sell.
