Hi Bethany, honey your son's gay whether you like it or not. Being homosexual is not a sin and if you were truly Christian you wouldn't be eating shellfish or wear clothing made from two different types of cloth. You should learn to be more open minded, you don't even know for sure that god even exists and yet you use him as an excuse to be close-minded and kind of stuck up if I'm honest. He has a magazine with naked men in it for gods sake take a hint also he is a 17 year old boy he has a lot of hormones running through him, he's probably also masturbating. As to what you should do about this: Let him know that you know but also you should let him know that it is okay to be homosexual. Boys are 4 times more likely to commit suicide than girls and if you don't accept your son the way he is then you are a horrible person because I'm sure the bible taught you to love your children. Unlike popular belief, you can't choose if you're gay or not, if you don't believe me then consider this: why would anyone choose to be shut out from your family and called a disgrace and be bullied on a daily basis?

It could be, this could be his way of dealing with the change...else it could be the fact he's enjoying nursery and too engrossed to think of the toilet!
U could always speak to the nursery manager and see what they think...maybe they can help to support his personal needs such as reminding him of the toilet, taking him for "tries" etc.
If the accidents are home then maybe u could try the same thing(if ur not already)...also praise for when he does get to the toilet, not making a big fuss out of needing changing that way it rules out possiblity of it being for attention.
Another way to look is-could he have a urine infection or something similar? Maybe this is causing some toiletting difficulties. So if this becomes regular it could be worth seeing the nurse or GP?

Boys can be the hardest to train. Most likely it is the stress of a new nursery. He will work through this and be back on track. Dont get mad at him when he has accidents and when he does use the toilet give lots of praise

Yes! Any type of change (good or bad) causes stress which may lead to accidents. Talk to him about any worries he may have. 3 year olds have a heard time explaining how they feel so give him time. Talk about nursery school and what he does there. Also, talk to the teachers about how he is doing and share your concerns. If they are bothered by his accidents and act hostile/irritated/negative then consider changing schools. Otherwise don't make it a big deal (don't punish) and give him time to adjust.

could be nursery school but I would take him to the Dr. My daughter did this at about the same age, The dr. did a Urine test but it was negative. A few days later she was crying about her back hurting We were out of town so I took her to the ER. She had a kidney infection and spent 2 weeks in the hospital. You don't want to mess around with this.

Definitly a connection. He has no control over nursery, but does over going to the potty. Be supportive, and use positive reinforcement (token reward system that can be cashed in). If you battle him over this, he will regress further.
Be patient. He will be back to using the potty soon.

My daughter is 3 and potty trained and I notice that when she does have accidents its because she is in an unfamilar place where she doesnt exactally know where the bathroom is. At home she tells me she has to go and then runs to the bathroom door. Thats my theory. Good luck

little boys often have that problem. when my son had freinds over he would get to busy and forget to use the toilet. Or when he got excited he would pee himself and he woul just keep playing cause he was busy. Its normal.
