O.K. You did say the Best. See the link below for Wilson Audio's Alexandria 2 series. Your JVC will not even begin to be able to drive them though. You will need to upgrade to high end separates. Figure on spending well over $100,000.00 on this home stereo set-up (much more if you want home theater -- yes, people really do buy these). For the rest of us I think M&K and Martin Logan are hard to beat although you would still want to get a better receiver.

Since you are using a JVC reciever, I would recommend a set of Paradigm Monitor 7 for about $600 for pair for 2 channel. 5.1 surround system take a look at some Paradigm Cinema 220 for fronts, CINEMA 70's for rears, Cinema CC for the center and PDR-8 for the woofer . I dont what model JVC you are using watts wise, most list around 100 watts which should be fine. Again speakers are like cars you can spend $50 or $100,000 on a set up... Paradigm makes speakers in all price ranges from $129.00 to $5700.00

Where do these people come from who continue to say Bose is the best speaker? Do you work for Bose- cause no one into audio thinks Bose is even good, let alone the best...
As far as this particular question is concerned- there is no "best". There is no discernible way to crown a "best".
If you have a JVC receiver- you are at the bottom of audio, not the top. I would honestly tell you to go down to Circuit City and check out what they have to offer. Find something in the price category that you find intriguing- and go for it...
Do not waste too much of your valuable time in search of the magical speaker to be fed from a JVC receiver...

There is no such thing as the best without some qualifications. How much are you able or willing to spend? How much space are you willing to give up for these speakers? Are you looking for floor standing or bookshelf speakers? These are but a few of the questions you need to answer.
Also, although speakers are made to be as neutral souding as possible there is always some coloration of the music. So what sounds "best" to one person will sound terrible to another.

it is very difficult to say "Best" it is depend on how much Rs you can spend and what is your room area and the required music wattes, some players comes as complete pack, otherwise you have to seek amp power and player out put power
