That you think you'll explode?
Maybe it's just that it's such a beautiful day.
"The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious. It is the source of all true art and all science. He to whom this emotion is a stranger, who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe, is as good as dead: his eyes are closed." ~ Albert Einstein
"The possession of knowledge does not kill the sense of wonder and mystery. There is always more mystery." ~ Anais Nin
"People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child--our own two eyes. All is a miracle." ~ Thich Nhat Hanh
Think I'll go hug a tree. :-)

Wild and Free: "I don't think anyone who has answered so far has any idea about what you are talking."
With respect, I think they do. You call it God's love, and I respect that, but god-believers are not the only ones who experience this wonderful, transcendent, exhilarating all-encompassing feeling of universal good will and jubilation.

I do. I call them my sublime moments. They are moments when it's easy to believe that everything is in harmony, that there's nothing ever to fear, all is well. They are most frequently triggered by really nice days.

Absolutely.
My business, until interrupted by an unfortunate accident a few months ago, was to sail about the Caribbean with dozens of people on my sailboat. One of the most incredible sensations, which, I might add, I had almost every day, was this feeling of total 'Connection' with everyone on board, and yes, total love for them all, regardless of size, age, origin, gender, or other of the countless elements of this extraordinary diversity that we humans ( and all other life-forms ) exhibit.
Sometimes it was so strong that I could literally and physically feel a kind of psychic 'cord' extending from my heart zone to each of theirs.
Out of this world, in every sense of that expression !
Thanks so much for reminding me.
The trees around here had better watch out too !

I do.
Interesting that you'd say it like this - I think you've described the feeling that I have perfectly. I don't usually feel this way - I usually have the "joy at being alive", but only occasionally the "love for humanity" part. It's really good when I've got 'em both.
Thumbs-up all around, even to the cokehead.

Sometimes, although today I am having one of those days where I have no hope for humanity!
I encountered one of those types earlier today who cannot go a few sentences without insulting someone, and who rather than coming up with intellegent insults, just says what you said in a baby voice!
I see someone blindly throw a coke can away with no regard for the enviroment...
I think we're screwed!

It is a gorgeous day today. And while today didn't start with a joy at being alive, I have had those days and I'll work on my attitude today.
Tree hugging, on the other hand, just kicks off my allergies in spring.
Thanks for a good thought.

I don't think anyone who has answered so far has any idea about what you are talking. The glorious, wonderful, amazing feeling you describe is agape love, and is a blessing from God. To be able to feel this happy and carefree is a result of the knowledge that He loves us and takes care of us. It is appreciation of Nature and the realization that Nature is a reflection of God and His love. It is wonder and glory and joy and nirvana - it is God making Himself known to your heart.
Anyone who criticizes this question or gives a flippant answer hasn't ever experienced this blessing. I pray they do!

Yes I am hip to that! I had a wonderful walk outside at 5am this morning. Saw the sun come up. Lovely to be alive.

Please don't explode. Your armor will become razor-sharp shrapnel.
But I know what you mean. Sometimes it feels like the whole world is filled with love. It's a nice relief from those other days when it feels like the whole world is against you.

I love the world around me, but I dislike mankind. I am, by my nature, misanthropic.
