I'm going through a tough period in my life right now filled with sadness and frustration and it's pretty hard for me to really give God the honor, glory and praise.

If you are going through a tough time, then don’t you have enough to worry about without worrying about offending your egocentric imaginary friend? Why does god act so starved for attention anyway? Can’t he get over himself?

Been there more times than I like to recall. You generally won't feel like praising from the pit. It has to be a choice. The wonderful thing is that refreshing from the Lord's presence follows that choice. I do find, though, that I can begin where I am with my frustrations and talk to God about them. He's big enough to handle it. Pretty soon the complaining gives way to praising.

it's just a test baby, give Him every inch of your strength I'm telling you this is how your breakthrough comes. Keep praising God. I know I'm going through a tough time right now and I just keep God in mind because I know a change is coming.

It is certainly difficult to do. You just have to know in your heart that God is with you holding you and carrying you through. There's a purpose for every storm and every trial. But as well as a purpose for every one, there is an end to every one as well. If we can just hold on. The Bible says to praise Him in ALL things. Even if you don't say anything else but Lord I know there's a reason for this and although I don't know why this is happening and I don't like it and I don't understand it I praise You for it becuase I know there's a reason. God knows your heart and even when we can't seem to pray outwardly, He knows our hearts and your inward prayers. Hang in there and know that God is God and He has it all under control. There will be sunshine again! God bless you hon. People are praying for your situations!

Tough times are when our true faith will show. It is easy to sing God's praises when all is well and right in our world. Hold on to your faith.

I too have been through many struggles, so I can tell you from experience. . .if you will hold on to your faith through the difficult times you will be blessed. This too shall pass. . .and when you come through the struggle you are in at this moment you will come out wiser and stronger and more aware of God's presence in your life. He will never leave us or forsake us. Life is not always easy, but when you are saved you do not walk through the valleys alone. :)

As Jesus suffered so shall we, by giving your troubles, sadness and frustrations over to Him He will glorify it as He did with the Pascal Mystery thus giving Glory to God
But if you do not give it to Him through the Merits Of His Son how could you expect for Him to change bad into good as He did with the death of atonement
God love you

Buddy... i can assure u one thing that God loves and understands u more than ur own self. He loves us too much to leave us in difficult times. He knows all we can bear and will neva allow anything beyond that...
Just know one thing that He is sovereign and when u trust Him, He will never let u down. This assurance along with His sons death on the cross takes us ahead. Its not at all easy but not impossible either. Will keep u in my prayers...
Take care and God bless and remember, the satan is a liar, do not get drowed in his ideas. He is already defeated.

Been there. Everyone has those times.
Remember our circumstances change, but He does not.
He is still in control, and when we go through these times, they are opportunities for growth. Trials to test and prove our faith.
Read in James the first chapter. Really read it. You'll see.
Don't get tripped up by your emotions. Faith follows fact.

i recommend: draw near and he will draw near to you. His loving presence will help you to believe Romans 8:28 and Jer.29:11...and others...don't beat yourself up for feeling down; it happens to us all...likely you are making inroads and oh God I know how you feel, so very much. My life also has quite a bit of sadness and frustration. But good or bad, I still chose to say, Lord blessed be your name. He is soverign. He loves you and perhaps is hiding his face for a season for a purpose. You know what? I'm preachng to myself now. Thank you...and may you feel like worshiping soon; may you loose yourself in worship.

God understands that. That's when He wants you to lean on Him. Give your circumstances to Him and trust Him.

Remember when you find yourself in a pit so deep you can't get out, God has a long arm.
