or when their beliefs are proved moot?

BUT They believe they're actually "helping" us when they preach their delusional religions on us?

What is more disrespectful?

To try to guide someone's way of thinking by means of logical statements and conclusions?

Or to try to convince others of a freakish delusion of an imaginary being?

Being a Christian isn't easy, many trials come with it and many hardships will follow. It's rather ironic that a religion which so publicly proclaims Absolute Love as its basis should, over the course of history, spawn so much unmitigated hatred and violence. Is it simply that Christianity is a failure in inspiring better conduct from otherwise hopelessly evil human beings, or is there some aspect of Christianity which in fact encourages or promotes some of the baser aspects of human behavior? Perhaps it is a bit of both.

Anti atheism is doing lots injury to Christianity that that's in actuality anti Christianity – David Manley It takes in actuality in undemanding terms one to make a quarrel. that's ineffective for the sheep to pass resolutions in favour of vegetarianism, on a similar time as the wolf remains of a diverse opinion. - William Ralph Inge. Why so unaware of what motives the backlash against christianity? all the different religions and atheists stay in peace and are in undemanding terms attacked by using undesirable christians which motives all stable christians to melancholy on the wear they do! Up till approximately 40 years returned Christianity became into thriving and there became into no conflict with others yet in basically those few short years the modern christians have become illiberal, hate crammed, bigoted and persecuting ensuing in a turning out to be backlash against christianity and inflicting christianity to loose over ten p.c. in decrease than a decade with the loss accelerating! The self destruction of Christianity is underway and the only subject that could end that's to desert the poor human thoughts, look for to rediscover the assumption of a loving god and act like it!

No, its definitely expected. There is way more proof for there being a God than for evolution occurring. Actually, one proof would be more than evolution has. If you saw a car, you wouldn't assume that a tornado blew through scrapyard, you would know that there had to be an intelligent creator behind it. The same is true with the universe. So I don't think that Christians are the delusional ones, it is the non Christians. It takes more faith to believe evolution than it does to believe in God. Knowing that a Supreme Being created the world is more logical than saying a blob (which came from where?) exploded and evolved. That completely opposes the second law of thermodynamics, which states that things tend to become more disorderly. I guess they feel threatened for some reason. I am a Christian, but I have no problem w/ people asking sincere questions--I don't believe God does either. Yes, the ones who "preach" to you do believe they're helping you. I've heard some pretty harsh words said to unbelievers by "Christians", but I don't see anything in the Bible that indicates that Jesus behaved that way. So I don't preach to people, I answer questions honestly & sincerely if I'm asked. I do share my faith in appropriate circumstances, but if someone doesn't want to hear it all they have to do is say so. I try not to be drawn into pointless debates B/C they usually escalate into arguements which serve no purpose. Even if you disagree w/ me, we can still respect each other. ;)

I dont feel disrespected at all. God said in His word, we would be disliked and treated the same way Jesus was treated when He was on the earth. No one is trying to guide anyone to think any way . We are all grown and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, even if it is unfounded, and uneducated. No disrespect, none whatsoever.
Dont however, mistake our niceness for naiveness. We stand on the word of God, besides is dulusional the best you got..we have been called all kinds of things since the begining of time so this, is nothing new.

Because for starters when someone usually talks to us Christians denying the existence of God their usually doing it in a hateful, rude and offensive way. Why is it that people don't believe in God feel the need to push on us Christians their thoughts of how there is no God knowing that we do believe? Is one more disrespectful than the other? At least we try to help rather than try to prove someone's beliefs wrong. It is disrespectful to "attack" for lack of a better word soemone in such a manner and then expect them not to get defensive. Sometimes it's not so much the words that are spoken but the manner in which their spoken.

Beliefs proved moot, I think not.

Calling Christians stupid, delusional and referring to anyone's belief in a God as freakishly delusional in a imaginary being is disrespectful right along with the reference to sky daddy and sky fairies.

People are not that stupid and know when they are being insulted.

Religion, or one's relationship with God is of a very personal nature. For all religious people, faith has a profound impact upon our lives. It forms a standard by which we try to conform and it becomes a part of us.

Questioning our beliefs is equal to questioning our lives and lifestyle. Just as you get your feathers ruffled when some questions yours, we do the same when you question ours.

If we are at an impass, then we are at an impass. But our faith still encourages us to share it with others. It is not meant to offend, but to offer another possibility to non-believers, a possibility of eternity and life beyond this present existance.

, It is the same question as: Why don't Christians thank an atheist for showing them respect and telling them that they are wrong.
As an atheist you can be proud of your history in the twentieth century when your atheist religion of socialism was the inspiration for Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, and abortion. All told atheism caused over a hundred million deaths in the twentieth century great record to be proud of.
Since I am not a killer by choice why would I convert to your thinking or beliefs?

You mentioned two things here,God and religion you can insult our religion because we expect it, but questioning the existence of God is another matter entirely.
To make a comparison, it is like telling a young kid that his Father isn`t really his Father at all, and no-one knows who he is, it is pure insult and lacks any basic human goodness.
God is the Father of Christians and even if you do not know Him or believe in Him the least you can do is not to stoop this low.
