The phrase "In God we Trust" was placed on the dollar bill in 1957 as a response to the threat of atheistic communism. It refers to the God of the Judaeo-Christian tradition, since this phrase was added by an act of a largely Christian congress. The other symbols, such as the pyramid, were added to the bill at different times and have no bearing on this phrase.

Is it Ra, the Egyptian god of the sun? The doolar bill has a pyramind on it, and the eye on top is used in some religions to represnet god. Ra was associated with the pyramid so there you go.

With all the masonic symbols on the bill, I would think they're calling it "Great Architect Of The Universe."

Who cares?

I dislike the reference to ANY god, gods, goddess or goddesses.

Not that I dislike it enough to give all my dollar bills away or anything like that.

Tyr

He is the one god people always mention, or at least the one armed god of singular combat.

The god of the current president. You know, the one that claimed wicca was not a real religion, and as a result a wiccan soldier's tombstone stood unmarked for ten years.

They meant well so don't fault them for it. The world worships the god of money; as a whole.
