Why we need any religion at all? No other creation of God has this stupid religion stuff, why only humans has?

The gurus,mullahs,reverends,monks and every single preacher of any religion all say one word. Religion is for prosperity of humans. My foot. The religion has spilit the world into pieces and all these so called preachers are spreading nothing but hatred which is leading the world towards destruction. Why can't we humans live like other creatures of God like Male and Female. Is this classification of humans is not enough to live happily?

Many people like being sheep. They like to be told what to believe and what to do. They like to be told they are special. They like to be told that as bad as it is for them now, they will have lots of presents under the tree when they get to heaven.

Religion is the opiate of the masses. It keeps the masses content and unquestioning. The masses like it this way. They don't understand the modern world and they fear it. Religion is their pacifier, their security blanket.

You seem to have it backwards. It is the fact that only man knows and cares about his relationship with God that makes him unique. He alone is a moral being, make in the image of God (which is why he knows God is there) and answers to God for his moral choices. The fact that man alone acknowledges God is usually the major arguement made FOR having religion.

And if there were no religion, people would find a million other reasons to split the world into little pieces and spread hatred. Eliminating religion did not seem to help the USSR, Red China, North Vietnam, North Korea, Cuba, etc. to be peaceful nations.

Religion is actually the only answer to the problems of the world.

We have been created with the need to worship so worshiping God or an idol can never be taken out of a person, no matter how hard you try. Animals have no souls so you are comparing so to speak apples with oranges. I ask you this. It there anything that you love more than anything or anything else. Whatever that is, is your God, and you worship it. As much as you may try to deny this one true simple fact, that thing is your idol, and you worship it.

Because HUMANS have a soul and a conscience.No other creature has these attributes,so no other creatures will have to answer for their deeds on earth.
IF people have no fear of judgement in the next life,then we have NO reason not to kill,steal,lie,cheat,etc....

are you trying to classify us with animals who are incapable of the things we accomplish? lol..........Not all preachers spread hatred and the ones who do are absolutely wrong. That's why I'm Catholic, never have I heard our priest talk about other religions.
