1. We are born into sin, but through the blood of Christ we are redeemed. Christ is the ultimate sacrifice.

2. Because of God's love, when you accept it you will want to do better. A relationship with God should cause one to continually be growing and maturing.

3. The world will get worse, but we each have a responsibility to do the best we can while we are here.

4. Life is to be valued. . .through family, friendships and the other many things we are blessed with while we are here.

5. Jesus did die for our sins and we are all forgiven. We are not perfect but we must do our best. One can not willingly sin with the thought that they will simply repent after it. God knows our hearts and our minds. . .sincerity in repentance is required.

I would like to respond to all of your statements as best I can,

1. We're all born bad. Not true We were born in the image and likeness of God.

2. God loves me no matter what I do. True, but we all know right from wrong. God still will love us but will be disappointed in what we do. If what you said was the case that question also stand for our parents.

3. The world will get worse until Jesus returns. Not true, because he never left me (his spirit that is) so if that's the case we have no excuse not to be the best person we can from day to day.

4. This life is just a passing ground, true. We value it because we have not earned it, and if we live right it can only get better after death. (death- passing through)

5. Jesus died for my sins. True, but a real Christian wouldn't murder. Murder is wrong but God forgives, this goes along with Q 2

No, my simple minded friend...you have it all wrong.

1. We're born bad.
-Yes, we are all born with a sin nature...we all have the desire to do the wrong thing...which explains why a child who has never been taught how to lie can still look at it's mother and say, "No, mommy, I didn't eat the cookie." When he has chocolate chip smudges all over his mouth. No one teaches a child how to lie, they just know how to do it. However, God also gave us a conscience to decipher what is right and wrong...we know what is right and it is our job to do it regardless of what the flesh tells us to do.

2. God loves me no matter what I do
-No, it doesn't...if anything it makes me more thankful and motivates me to do God's will to the best of my ability.

3. The world will get worse until Jesus comes
-It will get worse, but the degree of how bad it gets is determined by our actions. We can stop it from being as bad as it might be if we throw caution to the wind...and that is worth trying for.

4. This life is just a passing ground
-Because how we live our life determines our impact on the people around us...people who are not saved are always looking at us...and it is up to us as to whether they will see a hypocrite or someone who is crazy in love with Jesus and his people.

5. Jesus died for my dirt(sins)
-No, a REAL Christian...wouldn't murder. The 10 commandments say: Thou shall not murder. We are not God and it is not our place to act as God and remove someone from this planet. Silly, rabbit.

1. We're born bad (that wont cause good behavior)
No but it sure puts all people despite race and sex on the same playing field.

2. God loves me no matter what I do (this causes low standards)

Nope it speaks of unconditional love

3. The world will get worse until Jesus comes (why try?)
If you are a christian it would be out of obedience.
John 15:10 KJV
(10) If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

4. This life is just a passing ground (why value life?)
When one is saved he gives his life to God.
John 15:12-14 KJV
(12) This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
(13) Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
(14) Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

5. Jesus died for my dirt(sins) (so real Christians can murder)

Nope, Murder is sin and the simple fact is that if you love you can not murder. Greatest commandment is to love. Killing to protect your country or your family is different.

God tells us we will obey Him if we love Him, tells us we are His friend. Believing in Jesus is only way to be saved, but even the devil believes and trembles because he is doomed. The difference is obedience to God.

1. We're born bad (this identifies the source of bad behavior)
2. God loves me no matter what I do (this is not true - in the end God will burn the sinner in hell)
3. The world will get worse until Jesus comes (If we do nothing about it, those we love will suffer more)
4. This life is just a passing ground (who said we believe this? this life is where we glorify God)
5. Jesus died for my dirt(sins) (no real Christian will continue in sin)

If the above is any indication of what you think the Christian message is, then we are certainly not doing a good job of communicating it, are we?

None of this is actually in the Bible, its just a bunch of things that some curhces believe and others don't.

Some chruches believe we are born good, or neither good nor bad.

some people say that God will punish you even if He loves you, He's doing it for your own good.

The third one is true, but a Christian contributing to the wrold becoming worse is not a true Christian.

I have never heard my preist say that life is worthless. Many Christians put a lot of value in life.

I don't think that Jesus died so we could sin. That makes no sense after Jesus preached doing good. He died for something else, I'm not sure what it is yet.

Christianity does not teach that. Maybe false religion (Christendom) does, but true religion does not.

1. We're born with the inclination to do bad, doesn't mean we should. We can pray and ask for strenght and guidance. It's been working fine in my life.
2. God does not love what we do. He loves us, but he wants us to repent of our wrong ways and turn around from them. He won't deal with willful and deliberate sins.
3. The world is getting worse. But that doesn't mean we have to right along with it. One, true Christians are hated by the world, just as Jesus was hated. Two, we are to be no part of the world, just as Jesus was no part.
4. It's a passing ground, but we have to live according to Bible principles to gain life. So our life course now, determines what God sees fit for us later.
5. Jesus died so that our sins could be forgiven. They can only be forgiven if we are truly repentant of them.

Dear Mr. Sans-Chemise:
All 5 of your premises come from christendom.
Christendom has proven to be the most absolute worst representative of Christianity.
She is an abomination that has contributed to the present decadence.
We are not born bad. We are born into a state of sin. It is not obligatory to give into it.
God does not love you no mattter what. He is against willing rebels.
The world will get worse, however, when Jesus comes he wishes to seek out those who were at least trying to do good.
This life is not a passing ground. We don't go to heaven.
Our future is on this planet. Psalm 37:29.
Real christians do not murder. The fake ones murder.

#1 We were born in sin; this is to show our present condition and our need for redemption if we want to get right with God.
#2 God's love is such that no matter what your condition you still have worth and value to him.
#3 Trying times build godly character. (put the squeeze on a fruit and juice comes out; put the squeeze on a christian and the fruit of the spirit comes out)
#4 Learn contentment and redeem the time in service to the creator.
#5 All sins are forgiven, past and present, but we are instructed to obey his word and keep ourselves blameless.

1) Everyone starts out the same in the eyes of the Lord, needing the Lord to overcome original sin.
2) You don't have a kid, do you?
3) The chosen will be taken into heaven. We're trying to win the Rapture Lottery. You can't win if you don't pray.
4) That's to make death easier to take.
5) Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice... is it so hard to sacrifice a little of your time and money for your fellow man?
