I have been broken up from my x of a few years for over 2 years now,he still wants me back though. I have met many successful men since but not gotten serious with any of them. The one i really want is the one who is mutual friends w/my x and I dont see us ever being together so i am giving up. I have met someone else who i am attracted to and makes me laugh.he is not the type girls go crazy over and he does not have a college degree or make a ton of money, but he makes me happy.My question here is if you were me would you go back to the x who you caught cheating because he still loves you and makes great money,or the man you really want but because of him not wanting to break the'guy code'it wont work,or the one that does not make much money but makes you laugh and you have fun with?

I would try for the one you really want... your ex was the one who cheated, so you shouldn't feel guilty about dating someone he is friends with because you are single now! but, the other guy sounds great too... if he makes you laugh and you have fun with him and you're happy, who cares if he doesn't make a lot of money? I'd choose love over money any day. definitely don't go back to your ex, he doesn't deserve you.

If you really wanted to be with any of these men you wouldn’t have a question. Wait until you find the man that makes you happy, and you don’t think about being with any other guy.

Money and things aren't what makes a person and doesn't make someone love you, it is what is inside the person...so for choosing...go with you heart and the one you feel comfortable with and makes you happy not how much they make.
