I would consider myself a devout Catholic. However, some of my good friends are Muslim, so sometimes I take part in Eid, Ramadan, etc. mainly for food at events.
Likewise, my Muslim friends also wish me Merry Christmas.

NO, are you less of a Christian for celebrating holidays that use pagan symbology?

Does putting up a pagan Christmas tree or giving your child bunny chocolates for Easter, or dressing up for Halloween make you less Christian, of course not. If anyone tells you you're less Christian for celebrating Muslim holidays be comforted in the fact that you are more Christian than them.

Your still a Christian weather or not you celebrate Muslim celebrations or events. You can only be a Muslim if you accept Islaam by saying

"Ash-hadu anla ilaahaa ilillaah wa ash-hadu ana Muhammadan 'abduhu wa-Rasooluh"

Which means "I bear witness that no diety has the right to be worshiped except Allaah and I bear witness Muhammad is His Slave and Messenger"

So by celebrating Muslim events etc, does not make you a Muslim a single bit.

Also, Muslims are not allowed to wish you a merry christmas, because this is due to the fact they are supporting christmas, which is something we don't. Because we do not believe that Jesus died on a cross and what not. Therefore by them wishing you a merry christmas they are suporting it, even if they say they don't do christmas, they still shouldn't say it.

Concluding, that we do not associate anything to do with Christmas in any form, along with easter etc. We only celebrate and associate in the 2 Eids. Those are our celebrations. Ramadhaan is not a celebration but an important thing taken to account, it's something that makes a Muslim a Muslim. Becuase you have to follow the 5 pillars of Islaam to be a Muslim. Accepting Islaam is the first.

We do not associate in any celebrations apart from the 2 mentioned in Islaam. Friday is like another Eid, but the same principles are not taken. It's a day where we Pray at the Mosque, and meet our friends and/or family and spend time.

I wouldn't say you are less of a Christian, just a little bit confused or hypocritical. Maybe if you researched what Ramadan is for, you would see the meaning in it. ( I don't really know what it's about besides a month of fasting) Ask your priest and if he's real about the Bible and teaching he won't get upset with you for asking or participating in these events.
Your Muslim friends wish you Merry Christmas because you are Christian. It has nothing to do with compromising their beliefs.

The events with which you celebrate have no bearing on your beliefs.

Your religion is that which satisfies your personal beliefs.
Celebrating an event of another religion does not neccessarily effect your beliefs.

So no, it does not make you less Christian.

Them wishing you a Merry Christmas is a far cry from you participating in their holidays. Do not be duped by the Catholic Church's ecumenical movement. Participating in their holidays gives honor to Allah, and Islam's prophet, Muhammad.

"You shall have no God's before me." is what the God of the Bible states clearly. By spending time honoring Allah, you neglect to honor Jesus Christ.

Allah and Jesus are not the same God.
