If you were working 1/1 with your personal assistant (like for several years) and you were very much attracted to each other...would you have an affair? If not---why? If so---why?

well it's risky. If things work out then it can be great. If things don't work out then working so closely around each other will be awkward and will probably interfere with your professional work. If you're both honest communicators then you can try it.

An affair? As in me having a wife at home? No, I couldn't do that. Sure there would be sexual tension and probably a good deal of flirting, but the line would be clear. If there's a ring on either person's finger then it's just not going to happen.

Having an office affair is the best way to ruin your work environment and your marriage!

Don't even THINK about going there!!

No, my mentor many years ago taught me. Don't dip your pen in company ink. I have followed that advice and found it to be very good advice.

Never.

Too complicated to work with someone you're involved with. I'd quit or have her transfered first.
