It drives me crazy when I get asked what did you do today, For some reason people seem to think that because I stay at home with my kids that I don't do anything. Staying home with kids is one of hte hardest jobs you can have. Not to mention all the cleaning. laundry, cooking, and fixing things. It is exhausting and is really rude of people to think that we are freeloaders or anything else we are contributint to the family. In a lot of situations if the mom was working her entire paycheck or the majority of it would go to daycare. Why pay someone else to raise your children when you can do it yourself.

4. Does it make you feel powerful that your husband is earning all the money in the house while you freeload?
5. Don't you have a backbone?

I hate when people say... Did you finish school as if I must not have an education because I must be too stupid to work.
I hate when people ask what I do all day... Like raising happy well adjusted children, Providing nutritious meals, cleaning house, managing finances, washing laundry, being the family mediator, fixing everything that breaks, listening to endless child chatter and trying to stay interested etc. is not enough to fill up a day.
Are you going to have more children...As if my child bearing or sex life is any of there business.
What soap opera do you watch...like all I do is watch t.v. all day

you have no idea how hard it is to be a stay at home mom until you've actually done it. It's easier to go to work (at least you get a break) and have someone else watch the kids.

Someone once asked me, "What do you do to make YOU happy." Being a stay at home mom gives you so many rewards. Why do you have to be a career woman to have happiness?

"So, what DO you do all day?" I drives me crazy when people think I just sit around watching tv or playing. It is a full time job staying home with a little one - you can't let them out of your sight for one minute!
