The minimum amount of calories your body can handle is 1200, once you go under 1200 your body will start eating itself from the inside, beginning with your muscle, thenonto your vital organs. Put your focus on getting healthy, not getting skinny. Everything you eat focus on "i'm eating this to get healthy" etc. This is the only way I was able to start changing my mindset, to help me recover from my eating disorder. I have a lot of heatlh problems now, and Im only 22. Here's a site with info on anorexia

Good luck to you

There is no fewest amounts of calories you can eat and not gain. You need to eat a MINIMUM of 1200 calories every day not matter what. If you do not eat a healthy diet you will get sick and possibly die from the complications of all of this. Remember scales aren't important. If you're healthy and comfortable with how you look, who cares what the number says. You are letting an inanimate object control your self esteem.

If you only realized how important good nutrition is you wouldn't be worried about eating the least amount of calories.
I have worked in this area of health for a lot of years. There is
nothing like good health. You can do anything if you have it. Once your health is ruined by neglecting it, or for whatever reason you may never regain it. It is much more important to have a healthy body than a good looking body. You are who you are, not what you look like. Depending on your age and
gender and your present body weight you can figure out the
amount of calories you need daily.

In the summer, I eat about 500 calories a day and I don't even get dizzy. I take vitamins too.
