Well, you see, those who shout the loudest about illegal immigration only see Mexicans and other people of color who come across out southern borders.
They don't see the millions of illegals who are not dark skinned....
I'm sorry, but this is a nation built by immigrants and populated by immigrants and descendants of immigrants. There is nothing wrong with someone coming into this country to work.....nothing....
Our borders need fixing, for sure - but ALL of our borders; not just the border that lets people of color enter.....
Our government has ignored the problem for 50 years. Why do you think that is???? Because big business, agribusiness, farmers, the hotel industry and others DEPEND on a cheap labor force from below the border. The government has no interest in ruining that relationship between big business and cheap labor.
The current administration has riled up the great unwashed by using buzz words like "illegal aliens", "stop terrorists from coming across the border", "illegal aliens taking American jobs"..... all intended to infuriate those among us who are already disaffected.
Washington has no interest in stopping this cheap labor force. Oh, they might build a few miles of fence...show pictures of fat, beer-bellied "militiamen", let you see some pictures of the border patrol picking up a few poor souls. That is to make you think they care...well, the don't.

I am not racist by far. I can get along with anybody and everybody, but if I don't want illegal folks coming by the boatloads and burdening our already crowded country, I should not be labled a racist! If those folks just happened to be from latino countries, so be it!
I have no problem with spanish speaking folks, polish, arabic, african, or whatever. But if the U.S wants to not allow those people to force their way in and demand to be treated as citizens, although they are not, then I have a problem with that, and that is not being racist.
This world is coming to a self destruct, fast!

Watch your butt, seems like Yahoo monitors are very sympathetic toward the illegal trash that blows across the Mexican boarder. They removed my answer because I said I wanted all that trash picked up and tossed back over the boarder. I thought that maybe if shock collars were to be strapped on the illegals, and set to go off if they try to illegally enter the U S A again. It seems this was to harsh for the girls over at yahoo, I will try to be more concerned with your feelings girls.

No, the only racists on here are the ones that single out Mexicans as illegal aliens. They are bigots because they single us out. Illegal immigration covers EVERYONE who is here illegally, which includes people from all over the world. If you pay attention to some questions and answers, a whole lot of them have racism written all over them.

i'm no longer racist with the help of a recommendations. i can get alongside with all and assorted and all of us, yet when i do not pick unlawful persons coming with the help of the boatloads and burdening our already crowded u . s . a ., I might want to no longer be labled a racist! If those persons purely occurred to be from latino international places, so be it! I even don't have any mission with spanish speaking persons, polish, arabic, african, or regardless of. yet when the united statesneeds to no longer enable those human beings to emphasize their way in and demand to be dealt with as electorate, even although they don't seem, then I actually have a mission with that, and that is not any longer being racist. This international is coming to a self destruct, quick!

Illegal immigration may be a problem, but the solution is not to split up families by sending the parents back to mexico while their kids, who were born here, are left here without family to care for them.
You can try to make the argument that illegal aliens hurt our economy, although they certainly do not. The root of the anti-immigration movement is xenophobia and racism, there is no other way to charachterize it. If these people were coming into our country from Canada no one would care, but because they have darker skin and speak a different language, they are hated. Its the same thing that happened to the Italians, the Welsh, pretty much any group of immigrants.

If wanting to stop illegal immigrants from invading the USA is racist, then I am a racist., But I prefer to think of myself as a law abiding citizen that wants the best for my country, and people that disrespect our laws is what is bringing our country down into the gutter(Like mexico).

Everybody wants to cry racism nowadays. What better way to divert the attention from their illegal entry than to protest and march saying we are all racists. The problem with this world is that everybody wants to blame somebody else for their own wrong doings.

You could always call the terrorist. Its actually racist for them to do so. Making such broad generalization. Spewing hate messages.
