NO.
Salvation comes from faith in Jesus Christ and allowing Him to come into your heart.
You need to believe, first, that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, and that He rose on the third day. You need to just simply ask Him to forgive you of ALL your sins, that you have EVER committed, and tell Him that you BELIEVE that He died on the cross for your sins.
And say 'I am a sinner, please forgive me, please come into my heart and change me."
That's ALL it takes!
He loves you so much!

No. Salvation only comes through accepting the sacrifice that Christ made on your behalf. As Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except by Me". Even Satan acknowledges that there is a God, but just knowing that doesn't do him any good.

I do not remember ever not believing in God. I was raised in a church from infancy- however acknowledging there is a God did not save me- Satan believes in God. What saved me? Admitting I am a sinner- asking Jesus to forgive me of my sins, through his blood- repenting (turning away from sin and toward God) and living for Him as my Lord. Knowing about God is not the same as knowing Him.

Jude 5, RS: “I desire to remind you, though you were once for all fully informed, that he who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.” (Italics added.)
Matt. 24:13, RS: “He who endures to the end will be saved.” (So a person’s final salvation is not determined at the moment that he begins to put faith in Jesus.)
Phil. 2:12, RS: “As you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.” (This was addressed to “the saints,” or holy ones, at Philippi, as stated in Philippians 1:1. Paul urged them not to be overly confident but to realize that their final salvation was not yet assured.)
Heb. 10:26, 27, RS: “If we sin deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful prospect of judgment, and a fury of fire which will consume the adversaries.” (Thus the Bible does not go along with the idea that no matter what sins a person may commit after he is “saved” he will not lose his salvation. It encourages faithfulness. See also Hebrews 6:4-6, where it is shown that even a person anointed with holy spirit can lose his hope of salvation.)
Jas. 2:14, 26, RS: “What does it profit, my brethren, if a man says he has faith but has not works? Can his faith save him? For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, so faith apart from works is dead.” (A person does not earn salvation by his works. But anyone who has genuine faith will have works to go with it—works of obedience to the commands of God and Christ, works that demonstrate his faith and love. Without such works, his faith is dead.)

Jesus said I am the way the truth and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me.
You have to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior. Just believing in God is not enough to give you salvation.

Dear TIC,
Absolutely not. Remember the Scribes and Pharisees of Jesus' time? They were the religious leaders of that day. They spoke and taught about Jehovah God. Little did they realize that they were speaking face to face with Jehovah when they sought to trap Jesus in His teachings. The Bible tells us they hated Jesus. In other words they hated Jehovah God.
There is also a verse in James 2 that states, "Thou believest there is one God; thou doest well; the devils also believe, and tremble."
So acknowledging that there is a God does not save a person. Please check my references below.

No. There is more to it than that. Some verses focus on belief, others confession, others baptism, but we have to take the sum of it all. All are required. As well as living a faithful life.
Acknowledging God alone doesn't save. You must also have belief (Rom 10:17, Jn5:18, Jn8:24), repentance(Acts 2:38, Matt21:28-29), confession(Rom 10:9-10), baptism (see below), and obedience(Rev2:10, Heb 5:9).
Salvation is in Christ
2 Timothy 2:10Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,
Romans 5
2through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
If baptism is not necessary, then the Bible is a lie.
If baptism doesn't save, then this verse below lies:
1 Peter 3:21There is also an antitype which now saves us--baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
Salvation is in Christ and baptism is how you put on Christ, get in Christ.
Galatians 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Mark 16
16He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
Acts 22
16And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.'
Acts 2:38Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 6
3Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,
Colossians 2
12buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.
Others say "ask him into your heart" for salvation. I challenge you to find the scipture that tells you to ask or pray Jesus into your heart. It won't be there. You will have more luck finding believe, repent, confession, baptism, and live faithfully.

In that day they will say, "Surely this is our God; we trusted in him, and he saved us. This is the LORD, we trusted in him; let us rejoice and be glad in his salvation." Isaiah 25:9
There is more than just 'saying' it... Jesus said that we must obey God..words are cheap

In the Christian religion, salvation is the process by which God chooses to show a few human souls a real good time while torturing everybody else unmercifully.
