did you remember to plug it back in. na just kidden' I have a rca 23" tv and a rca lyra mp3 player. my tv is fine there just some things here and there but my mp3 player has't been working right since the week after I got it, I called the number that was on it and they were no help at all they told me to go to the store a bought it from if I still had a warranty on it and get a new one. so if I were you I'd go to the store you had got it from, because if you just get it fixed, it'll probably happen again. hope you'll be watching your tv soon.

I have a 52 inch RCA and I have problems with it too. I always have to shut off my cable box instead of the TV because if I power off the TV, the next time I turn it on, I always get a menu where I have to set the language and search for channels. Also, sometimes during the night, the TV will turn itself on, sometimes just the volume will be on and other times the picture with sound comes on. I think it's just some kind of RCA problem.

Lemme guess its about 1-2 years old. Those are known for catching on fire, a fire hazard I had to tell the customer while their TV was on fire!

HV Tranformers are the known likely cause. RCA is JUNK.

Try plugging the laptop into the power and turning it on. You may have just loosened the battery. Otherwise take it to get repaired as stated by others.
