I want to disable my AC unit so it no longer works, (strange huh? I have my reasons) Anyone have any anwsers? any insight is greatly appreciated

You could always flip the circuit breaker (if hardwired to your house) or unplug it (if it's a window unit). Air conditioners should have their own breaker switch since they can pull a lot of amps.
Other than that, most units have some sort of valve that can be turned to stop the process.
