No, that's what he actually expects from us. True and accurate knowledge of his word in in fact the path to eternal life. However, he does say that he will hide the truth from the learned and reveal it to the humble.

There is no Bible Code. There are only people who would like to make the Bible say what they want it to, but Read Revelation 22:18-19 and find out what will happen to these people in the end.

It is God's will that we read deeper into our scripture and find new meanings. Many scriptural books have multi-layered meanings like in Shakespeare's plays. It is good to decrypt the symbolism. Some theories about how to read other levels in the Bible might be false, but it's good to investigate these things.
