Good question. Romans 13.1 teaches that "every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God."

Scripture tell us that is no one in authority except placed there by God. I am not talking about our present Pres. necessarily so please do not guess if I agree with him or not, that does not matter. What does matter is that we pray for those in office with a humble heart, knowing that God is the one who can change hearts, either of the leader or us. Remember God allowed Saul to be King of Israel- even though that was not His first choice. I am not saying that this is the case with the leadership or the next. I am just saying what the bible says about leadership- we are to pray for those over us.

I think that God hears the prayers of His people.
And if someone is wrong for the Presidency and Prayers go up to God, I believe He hears and turns His back on the wrong person--who has the wrong morals.
EVEN though, if there is NOT one (a 'right' man), I suppose He lets the better man win, ya think?

God sets Kings on their Thrones AND Removes them also at His discretion if they fall short. God will only allow them to go so far. This is the Old Testament if you would like to read it.

Belief has nothing to do with it. I know, not merely believe, that the electoral college has the final say about who will be president of the USA. It exists, but gods do not.

Uh.....................that would be a big "NO." The Bible is quite clear about God's people not getting involved in politics in any manner whatsoever, as politics is inherently dishonest.
The Bible tells followers of God to obey the law, but to NOT get involved with the inner workings of government.
Which, of course, makes it so incredibly laughable how the far-right "christians" have invaded politics since bush.
God is highly displeased.

It's un-American to think that, and anyone who does should not be allowed to vote.
