Smaller meals, but more often. You may (or may not) have noticed that if you have a huge meal for dinner, that you are hungry the next morning. It is because your stomach has temporarily stretched. Keep eating large meals and it will stay that way.
If you condition your body to only having so much food at one point, it will gradually shrink, but it will take a few weeks. Instead of having 3 meals a day, try 5-6.

Without you giving more information about your diet, ability level, metabolism, and lifestyle, nobody can really give you a better plan than eat healthy and exercise.
That's the only thing that will do it. Cortisone, Slimquik, and all of that is junk, so don't bother.
Eat what you want, but cut out high-calorie snacks, sugars, and soda. The vast majority of Americans excess caloric intake is in the form of sodas, so cut those out.
Secondly, ab exercises, as was said, are key. There are many ab exercises, but some of my favorites are: leg lifts(lie on your back, lift your legs 6 inches off the ground, raise them up (together), then slowly raise them back to 6 inches above the ground), bicycles(alternate touching your right elbow to your left leg and left elbow to right leg while lying on your back) to target higher abs.
Calisthenics and aerobic exercise are very important to losing fat. Run in place or outside, taking breaks every now and then to do some ab work or another anaerobic exercise. Jumping jacks are a time-tested favorite, as are treadmills and elliptical machines. If you have time, joining a soccer or softball team would provide both a boost in exercise and a reason to exercise.
So that's pretty much it. Eat better and exercise more...whoops. If you can't do that, get used to having a stomach.

you dont have to do a single sit up. but you do have to exercise and eat healthy. you think that's stupid but that's the truth, anyone who knows anything about fitness will tell you that. some people may be blessed with a super fast metabolism but the rest of us have to work for it, that's just the way it is. what else do you think there is, some secret pill? we all wish but there just isnt.

more exercise is not stupid, and if you think it is, you will not lose that belly.
now if you are actually talking about the organ in your abdomen called the stomach, you need to eat smaller more frequent meals.

Ab work, lots and lots of ab work. Of course, diet and exercise are a part of it. I also recommend pilates and kickboxing, both burn calories and work your core(ab. muscles)
