Sounds like the old christain way of thinking. Even the Cathoic church allows divorce now. They don't like it, but allow it.

Scientology as a Church doesn't dictate, disallow, rule etc in any way, in individual relationships or marriges or family issues, or any other areas of life actually.(It's not anything like the Catholic Church )
You read too many tabloids mate.

It's up to the couple. If they want to improve their marriage,
then Scientology marriage councelling is provided by a Scientology chaplain for this purpose.

If they decide to divorce then a Scientology chaplain can also help to ensure it is amicable and doesn't end up like
Alec Baldwin and Kim Bassinger!!

This doesn't impress the tabloids of course so you never hear about it.

Scientology doesn't interfere with divorces, this is allowed.
Tom has been divorced many times and his exwife Mimi Rogers is a Scientologist.

Jesus preached against divorce. This does not mean that I think Scientology is great - don't know enough about it to say that..

If they get divorced, Katie will get a chunk of Tom's assets, and that's less money for Scientology to steal from him.

Sounds as though He is in full control doesn't it. Seem to me he is a bit Bi Polar. She can do as she pleases anytime she wants. Sure though there is some brainwashing she's gonna have to see past. My opinion.
