how low is your low carb diet? for most depending on body size 100 grams daily is a good amount to shoot for.
a short 20 minute walk in the am can help to increase energy levels. don't forget to increase the water intake, chronic dehydration can cause fatigue. it can take several days for a week for the body to adjust to a low carb intake.

I done a low carb diet a while ago and lost around 10 pound, it is quite easy to stick to as you are just eating protein which fills you up. The only thing is if you start eating carbs again the weight will go back on, which is what happened to me! Basically you can eat as much of any protein you want ie. Lean meats, fish, eggs, cheese, only carbs you should eat are fruit and veg (although some low carb diets say avoid this, but thats not healthy) Omeletes are quick and easy to make and fill you up. Good luck

I've found that the "Induction Flu" takes 3-4 days to really get better--and it *will* get better on its own. I feel your pain, too--I'm on Day 3 of Atkins Induction! This is not the first time I've low-carbed, so BTDT. The cravings may take as long as 3 weeks to disappear altogether, though, so don't get discouraged! Try visiting http://www.lowcarbfriends.com for recipe ideas & support, too--I just found it this go-round and it's incredible. I wish I'd had the first couple of times I tried low-carb--I wouldn't have quit!!
Unlike previous posters, increasing your carb intake is exactly the wrong thing to do if you really want to "do" low-carb properly. Low-carbing should be something you plan to do forever, not just a quick diet. You'll gain back everything you lose if go back to a typical high carb way of eating. Definitely check out the website for the plan that you are following, too.
Good luck, and let me know if I can help you!

I agree with the other answer, if you just started you will be foggy for a couple of days. I have been on it since the Monday after easter and I feel great. Don't misuderstand the diet either, just because you are restricting your carbs doesn't mean make unhealthy choices and eat piles of meat, cheese and eggs. I try to eat white meats, chicken, turkey, fish (they are lean)!!! Also, be sure to eat nuts for your protien and carbs...and plenty and can not stress plenty of veggies. Veggies contain plenty of carbs that your body needs. Contray to what people say, your body does not need breads and sugars. Our bodies are not designed to eat processed foods, our bodies are structered to eat what is on this earth...(it is the best way I can describe it)... when everyone who has never been on a restricted carb diet doesn't understand. That we are consuming carbs but in a much more natural and sensible way. Last, be sure that you are a getting plenty of water and avoid the caffine at all costs...

Unless your body does not digest carbs properly, increase your carb intake a little.
Regardless of what the diet gurus say, everyone needs carbs to convert to energy in order to stay active and healthy.

Try Xs energy drinks 0 carbs, 0 sugar, low caffeine. The energy comes from B vitamins, so you don't have the crash feeling of the high sugar high caffeine drinks. Lots of great flavors.
