I have loving parents, loving partner, an interesting personality, intelligence, great sense of humour, a pet cat and a nice body and yet, I still think life is better off not happening. Is that depression? I don't feel depressed and I've definitely felt depressed in the past. This doesn't even hurt. It's just an acceptance that life isn't worth being born into, but since I was, I had better make the best of it while I wait to die. What's so bad about that?

I'm not talking about staying alive versus dying, I'm talking about birth versus no birth. If I could choose not being born over my husband or my family, I'd definitely choose not being born. It's a question of existence. Obviously, since I am alive, I'll take advantage of these experiences, but not being born would be better than love.

you are entitled to believe whatever you wish and no one has the right to judge you for it.
However, believing that life isn't worth being born into, tends to let you off the hook for being a decent person....I mean, why bother to be decent if life isn't worth living? Do you hear my meaning here? Obviously, there are some things about life that are worth living, like loving parents and loving partner. I think you are indulging yourself in thinking in terms that are black and white, right or wrong, and life simply isn't that simple.

Just sounds to me like you don't see the point because after all, if everything ends at death, there IS no point. If I were you, I'd try ghost hunting. (Just bear with me on this.) Do some independent research and learn the ins and outs of it, then go try to dig up evidence of spooks somewhere. If you experience the 'other side' first hand, there will be little room for doubt that life continues after death.

The reason I say do it yourself is because you can read about it all day, and you'll always be left with that nagging doubt "what if it's all BS?" But if you experience it first-hand, you can't very well doubt it, can you? :)

Once you've established there is in fact an afterlife, you realize that you only have a limited amount of time to experience the first life. There is no going back--you can't return to life after you're dead. So everything you want to experience, you have to experience NOW. The only thing you can carry with you to the other side is your memories--may as well make them good ones.

NO! I'm depressed and so I think life is crap, but I'm not depressed because I think life is crap.
Of all those wonderful things you listed, I don't see the most wonderful. A child. Have you considered that? Have you tried without luck. Maybe a baby would cheer you up and give you the reason you now lack, for being born.
I almost feel like saying "God bless", but I don't believe.

Ah this a larger question than you will be able to think of. the international subject is 'crap' at this 2d and it is inflicting stress and melancholy for many tens of millions and not likely to strengthen in foreseeable destiny. yet that stated -- lifting the gloom is likewise approximately recommendations-set and making a determination to verify the helpful factors of on a daily basis-- no be counted how annoying a job that seems at time. To be honest you will be able to ought to look into what your existence 'is composed' of and are available across merely what it relatively is it relatively is on the inspiration of your sadness -- then paintings in the direction of 'changing' the ingredient's that are in the back of your melancholy! i comprehend it is far less complicated stated that accomplished (from adventure) whether it relatively is spectacular how often we fail to look on the obtrusive differences we ought to make that would inject some pastime, entertainment and 'motivation' lower back into existence. while you're in lifelike wellbeing, and have infinite opportunities unfold previously you -- making a option to dosomethingg diverse and significant alongside with your existence could be all you should do to sense like existence is properly worth residing and not merely 'crappy'!... merely end permitting the fake 'coaching' you have got gained so far to make it easier to think of your existence or possibilities are limited by skill of something different than your determinatin to 'decide for it'!

I think life is crap because I have a keen way of not talking about my problems or getting to the heart of it, rather. I sink into my head. So my reality about life becomes crap. Some people think I have narcissism. I'm going to get therapy for myself. Nobody else.

You think life is crap because you are depressed. Go talk to a doctor or therapist and get some help. There are lots of options, besides meds, that can make you feel better.

Find your purpose in life. Be grateful for your blessings . Give something back.

You are feeling this way only because your life is designed for greater things for you to do. It's up to you to find out what they are. Answer the call of your higher soul.

My best to you.
