there are zero side effects. the human body can not differentiate between proteins derived from a protein shake or a piece of fish or meat. powdered proteins are simply in a different form so many assume that the body assimilates them differently. in many ways they are superior to whole food protein sources as the bioavailability of the proteins are greater with powders than with whole foods.

Depending on which brand you use and how the different ingredients affect you, nothing serious but sometimes you may find it difficult to do number 2.
I don’t know about long term though.
The best thing I find is if I just use normal no added extras protein powder from a natural food store. Maybe you should see a naturopath or nutritionist; they will be able to provide you with the info your looking for. It’s worth giving it a shot

Protein is used to turn fat into muscle, the fat with exercise is
squeezed out of the body by the muscles and diarreah-like
bowel movements can occur, however once a balance of
fat/muscle is attained this will no longer be much of a factor

So therefore do eat a balanced meal which will provide the
necessary nutrients to your body while maintaining your
protein intake to build muscle and you will probably have less of a diarrea effect and you should be good to go

you're a fool, if you had done any research on protein and protein shakes, you'll clearly see they are not steroids basically, protein helps your body produce more amino acids but yes, there is one side effect; you'll get stronger
