Yes in 99 they made a 2.4 T5 coupe - Volvo have never made a C70 2.5.

Ay they do. The Volvo C70 is available in a T5 Geartronic engine with folding hard roof as off 2004, and is getting a facelift in late 07. www.volvocars.co.uk will give you your info. Engine sizes range as well, just go have a look, the car is a gorgeous drive, and it comes with dynasound too if you want it!

There was a C70 2.5T in 1999 (which actually had a 2.4-litre engine with light-pressure turbo giving 193bhp, despite the 2.5 badge), and a C70 T5 (which had a 2.3-litre engine with high-pressure turbo, giving 240bhp).
Both engines were 5-cylinder units with 20 valves.
There was no 2.5 T5
The 2.5T was re-badged 2.4T for the 2000 model-year.
