how much protein a person needs really depends on the amount of body fat that they have and their daily level of exercise. the body of a physically active individual has a greater protein requirement and will utilize more protein than that of a sedentary individual. individuals that are dieting for fat loss may benefit from a slightly higher protein intake as a high protein intake keeps many from overeating. I would shoot for 40% protein, 40% carbs and 20% fats for a women. depending on how physically active you are outside of exercise you may want to decrease the carb intake even lower. those who are not physically active simply do not neeed a high carb intake.

You got it wrong. Standard protein requirement for every one except very young children (who need more) or very elderly person (probably less), is 1 gram per day per kg body weight. I Kilogram is more than two pounds. So you can work it out for yourself. As a women additional protein is needed during pregnancy and later when someone breastfeeds the child.

the recommended amount of protein for most adults is around 0.8 grams of protein per kilogram of bodyweight per day. One kilogram equals 2.2 pounds, so a person who weighs 165 pounds (75kg) would need about 60 grams of protein per day.

good luck

It depends on your age, your size, and your gender. The USDA suggests that 50 percent of your calories come from carbohydrates, about 30-35 percent of your calories come from fat, and about 15-20 percent of your calories come from protein.

The suggested amount of fat would be about 65 grams per day for a 2000 calorie per day diet or 80 grams of fat per day for a 2500 calorie per day diet. The fats should come from monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats rather than saturated fats or trans-fats.

No, is not too much if you workout (weightlifting for instance) otherwise 0.6 grams of protein per pound should be more than enough
