I will be too busy meeting those I knew that made it to heaven to worry about those that didn't...

I already have a burden on my heart for those who refuse to accept the Truth. God is not willing that ANY should perish, but He's not going to FORCE us to take up our cross and follow Him. He wants us to come willingly. I know I have been forgiven, but I also know I will still have to face God on judgment day. I very much want to hear "well done, good and faithful servant". I am NOT going to change my opinion about God when He stands true to His word...even if it means I may have loved ones who will be thrown into the lake of fire. They were warned, but CHOSE not to believe.

Revelation 21:8
But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death."
I could never be happy knowing that, according to the bibleThe one I am worshipping put so many into a lake of fire.I don't need to be "saved" anyway. I live a darn good life

The lake of fire is no more real than the beast with seven heads that got cast into it in Revelations. Oh and according to the last book of the bible hell was cast into the lake of fire. So obviously, we are NOT talking about a REAL place.
Certain Christians need to understand the meaning of SYMBOLOGY and ANALOGY and stop trying to scare people into believing in God.

Of course I'm not happy about people going to hell. But people have to understand that now is their chance, and that the only way to get to heaven is through Jesus Christ. And no one can say "Oh, I've never heard that", b/c God offers everyone salvation. People who go to hell, are the people who openly refused God's offer, and chose to go there. It's sad, but true.

Where do you get the idea that Jesus will cast the unsaved into a lake of fire? Is that in some bizarre version of the Bible I have not seen? Or is that just part of the broad Roman Catholic mythology that includes Purgatory?

Who are you to feel bad about what God has said he would do.
Wouldn't that make God a Liar not to cast people to hell
that deserve to go.
What kind of God would remain un-true to his word?
Seems you feeling sad for them might even get
you cast to hell - as you would want to go against
God's judgement - don't test God
you lose each time.

If you feel sad, that wouldn't really be too Heaven-esque. God will remove all of our pain and sadness, that I know. How, I have to speculate about: we either won't remember our lost loved ones, or we will understand that God's perfect plan is being carried out for those who love Him.
