Jesus told us that no one will ever know when it will happen. He does not know and the Angles do not know either. But what we do know is that it will happen. It will happen quick. We need to be ready for it at any time. We will not have time to put on our "flak jackets". Jesus said he will come like a thief in the night (unexpected).
I'm reminded of the song by D. C. Talk called " i wish we'd all been ready" (see source). Jesus is calling us to follow him as closely as we can so that we can be ready.
Jesus is the way the truth and the life. By him we will get out of this world and enter into Paradise

October 31, 2041 when an asteroid is due to pass close to Earth or not? That would be Asteroid 2006 XG1 in 2041.
Well anyway this might have been your best guess. There was a contest posted for suggestions on how to interfere with or stop it from colliding but, the contest got canceled due to lack of funds.

Some people have proposed sometime in 2012. But they are wrong; the actual date will be April 1, 5,000,000,147 CE, when the sun runs out of hydrogen fuel in its core and goes red giant. Your flak jacket won't help.

That's crazy to think of it in that way. For your information, the Bible tells us that we do not know the day nor the hour which the Son of man cometh. So to predict a date is against Biblical teaching.
