I love Salmon & Halibut.... but cannot really afford to eat them on a regular basis.. I also have a generous supply of tuna in my food shelves, but it disappears when my college boy comes home! ;0) I also think that Rainbow Trout is good, but don't care much for anything else than these! I did try shrimp once but that was enough for me.. never have tried crab or lobster yet! Sometimes I do wonder what they use for those great fish items in the fish sandwiches... Cod maybe? OH.... I have eaten the fish sticks alot... but I know they are chopped whatever is leftover fish and it's just nasty sometimes! ;0-)

Fresh salmon and fresh tuna are the most healthful. Canned tuna so so. Any small white fish is good. Big fish have been around longer- more chance to accumulate mercury and pollutants from the ocean. You only have to eat fish 1-2 times a week for benefits- just in case expense is a factor.

If it swims, I'll eat it.

To Mike M: You can find statistics to prove any point. Personally I don't eat anything "for health", I just love seafood.
P.S. I like red meat, also.
