It depends on the individual. I saw a study that said men actually have a harder time dealing with separation than women do. Somehow the stereotype has gotten going that men are not emotional beings, but we are. We love, we need love, we get hurt when we lose love. My grandfather loved his wife so much that when she died, he never saw another woman for the 30 years he lived after she died. All those years he mourned for her. So men do feel, believe me.

All men are not that simple. Some men suffer terribly when they lose a good woman, they just don't let it show!

Some are simple, some aren't - some get over women easily (esp. if they're just after sex) and some don't!
