People are living longer babies dont die at birth we have better health care. People in developed countries also have a much higher quality of life.
Also it seems like in the future this trend will continue. Why didnt God provide the health benefits we have now in the time of Jesus and before? It seems like everyday in research journals there is a new technique to save peoples lives!
Why was there so much suffering in the past and not as much now?
I know there is suffering now but not as much as in the past.
So why is GOD making life easier in general as time goes on?

Also there Are less wars then ever. The fact that you feel there is more war is because of communication technology. We can see anything happening in the world. before there could be a war that people never new happend

Bull, Adam lived almost to 1000. And John the baptist mother was around 80 when she gave birth. Just becuase we have long life spans doesn't mean that they didn't. I think in this day health is worst. 75% of america is over wieght. Scientist say that the teenagers today are the first generation in centuries to have a shorter prospective life span than the previous one.

God doesn't favor today's people more. Get real! Before the great flood, people lived to 800-900 years old. After the flood, God said that mankind shall only be able to live to 120 yrs old. And then look, we don't! We are dying before we should be. That shows that we aren't taking care of ourselves.
100-200 year ago people use to only live to about 40 yrs. Plagues took many lives at a young age. Girls married young, 12 & 13, when they started menstrating, so they could start a family early because they knew they would die in their 30s and 40s.
Medical technology has helped us live longer, to 80s, 90s and some even into early 100s. But God said we are to live to 120 and we have polluted the planet, the water and air and brought about AIDS, and other fatal diseases so sexual activities. And there are still viruses and outbreaks from time to time. We have the intelligence to keep a heart pumping and at the same time we can kill an unborn child. Which procedure do you think GOd agrees with? I don't see God favoring today's generation. He loves all HIs children but will only bless His faithful ones.

People are living longer you say. Please tell me who you know that is past the age of 120. This is suppose to be the oldest person living today. Read the Bible you will find people who died at the age of 300, 450, 900, and so on.
Health - Show me in the Bible where l00's of people die each day from, aids, heart attacks and and other dieseases.
Health Benefits: This one is a joke, right.
Babies are not dieing, huh, And how many Abortion Clienics do we have today, how many children die each year from child abuse, neglect, cancer, aids, etc. Get realy, wake-up and look around. Maybe you need to get out more.

Who comes up with these questions?
I consider it a blessing not to live to 900 or 1000
With all the violence and evil growing
who wants to be around to see things keep getting worse.
Yeah its a lot easier to do the wrong thing
and thats what more and more people seem to do
easier to not work
easier to eat non stop
easier to have un-protected sex
easier to be gay
easier to dis-respect your parents - not allowed to discipline
easier to no pay bills
easier to divorce
easier to just kill and war for no reason
easier to waste your life away doing nothing
easier to abort your unborn child
easier to not care for your children - grandparents watch the kids now full time
easier to blame others
easier to watch violence on tv than act on it in public
So is this God's favor or man's?

Have you been spending too much time on Fox News? People in the US are starving. Seen Katrina areas lately? At any moment there are 250 wars going on earth.
People are going downhill not up. 25 was old in the middle ages mainly because they would not bathe or clean up. That is why we live longer mainly. Doctors and drugs have helped but not as much as just cleaning up.

Where did you buy your rose-colored glasses?
You have been well commercialized, noting your health care comment. Do you really see better "quality" of life today? Oh, thank you evolution for allowing our vehicles to have adapted so well to the poisons we must now ingest through our so wise & wonderful care we give to our food sources, our air supply, and our waters! Not to mention, the prescription chemicals being introduced into those organic vehicles, and all those elements of survival, that waylay the effects of our consequences, so that we do not focus on changing them, all courtesty of the FDA & AMA.
And you imagine that a being of pure energy love has something to with this? Nay! This is all human-creating in action...all its glory. And we contribute to it's continuance with every purchase we make...it is our classroom, our playground, our business...God simply reaps the experiences we get out of it all...See???
Pardon the sarcasm...I must have been having a moment...hope I got the point across, though...Good Journey!!!

Sorry to dissapoint you but where do you live and do you watch the news. God has not changed man has changed from bad to worse just as the bible says. The world is in termol . Satan is the ruler of this system. God makes it so that those who listen to his word in the bible can escape the some of the troubles of this old world. Next time a wittnes stops by your house take the time to listen to what they say.

God is making life harder not easier. If I'm anything to go by. Increased lifespan dont mean jack if you are in chains. Nothing has changed. The past might look better but believe me it was not cause I was there once. Gods got tougher I just hope HE has some mercy on us

Your view is askewed. People lived much longer... you can read in Genesis that Moses' grandfather, Methusela lived to be 969 years old. That's a long time. After the Flood, God decided to number man's years on Earth. There are advances in medicine and the comfort of our living, however people are downright wicked. More war than ever, more hate crimes than ever, and more death than ever. Watch the news, there is not much good going on. I hope my perspective helped you. God Bless!

I think you need to do some more research. The Bible clearly states in Genesis that people use to live for hundreds of years, but after the flood life span started to dwindle. Also people didn't have to deal with so much disease as now. The Bible clearly says in Matthew 24 that there will be more diseases coming to the time of the end of the world.
