hard one....
well, i admire Buddhism, the religion is about peace and good teaching and i think it's good, God would choose love. I think it's fine if you are still a Christian, believe in Jesus and God, but look at other religion and what's good in it, take anything you learn and put into mind.
God wants us to be faithful and love Him and love others as you love yourself.

The great thing about Buddhism is that you don't have to be a Buddhist to practice Buddhist ways. Buddhisms goals is to eliminate desire and negative emotions so we can come closer to enlightenment. How can that be a bad thing? Whatever puts you on the right path is what you should follow. I don't understand why a god would be displeased because you want to expand your mind. It seems he's got some insecurity issues to deal with.

Dis DAn what is wrong with any philosophy? Nothing , Jesus never condemed the philosophers or the wise ones , why would hecondemn buddism,?He would not. It was the hypocrites and leaders He had issues with; how can one condem goodness of thought. One cant. I dont care what any christian says, dont listen, just remeber that as long as Jesus is your true king, he doesnt mind what philosophy you follow, and you wont folow a bad one cause you have Him with you always no matter what

well as a Buddhist i can tell u that to follow Lord Buddha's TEACHINGS it doesn't matter which religion u're in or even if u don't have a religion at all because it's a way of life.i know many people of other religions who follow his teachings.

as for the "idol worship" it's not because we consider him to be a deity.that's our way of showing respect for teaching us.Buddhists worship their parents as well, and teachers.we're taught to stand up when a teacher enters the classroom etc..it's a way of showing respect and has nothing to do with being a deity because Buddha WASN'T one-he was a man. he has never told us to do anything like that.u must separate his teachings from cultural practices.

true Buddhism=Buddha's teachings i.e.philosophies.

believing in afterlives etc are not connected to living according to the principles and ethics.may you live in peace!

I attended a lecture given by the Dalai Lama, one of the first things he said was we should work to understand our own culture first as we embark on the path to enlightenment. Buddhism is not incompatible with religion, it is a philosophy that leads to compassion. If your God is real He will approve.

You believe in three different guy who contradict each other. Buddha, Jesus and the God himself. It is obvious how is their feeling toward you right? Do I need to elaborate? The answer is so clear.

The God I know would be pleased. There is nothing you can do to remove yourself from God's love and you are just as you are meant to be. To me, all the world's religions have aspects that are similar.

Sorry, but the two are incompatible, and not just in what or who to worship. Buddhism believes that evil is only illusory, whereas Christianity claims that it is real.

You can't follow Buddhist philosophy and still believe in Jesus/god as your savior. The two do not compute.
