Depending on how you interpret sin. In the Catholic Church, there are seven deadly sins: Lust, Greed, Gluttony, Wrath, Envy, Pride and Sloth. Add those to the Ten Commandments and then to anything covered in the Book of Leviticus and the Book of Judges. The only sin one cannot be forgiven is blaspheme against the Holy Ghost. I don't know what that entails

There are a lot of sins that God would consider major. The biggest sin in all people is pride and selfishness.
I can't think of any sin that those two are the root of.
Murder, adultery, lying, stealing....all flow from pride and selfishness.

Basically - sin is rebellion against God. Rebellion is a major sin.
God does NOT measure sin like man does....there are NO grey areas. Therefore, ALL rebellion against God is a major sin. Thank God for the blood of Jesus that washes us clean and allows forgiveness so we can be saved by grace through faith! We will never be perfect until the day we are taken up to Him; however, if we receive His son, we are SEEN as perfect "IN CHRIST".

The Lord provided the ten commandments which pretty much encompass everything. But God sees sin as sin, there are no major or minor sins. The only sin that cannot be forgiven is disbelief.

Yes, Ivan B is correct--unbelief. To that I would add that many whole denominations no longer believe the Bible to be Gods infallible Word-which should be their standard.
Look at some of the churches who no longer believe the Bible-or parts of it.
Catholic
Episcopal
Methodist
Pentecostal/Charismatics
These churches are gaining members every day, some of them are exploding-yet they are falling deeper into apostasy.
Could this be "the great falling away?"
1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,

We were given the Ten Commandments along with other laws (Leviticus).
If we break one law, we have broken them all.
God sent Jesus to die for our sins, because there is no way
we could follow these laws.
Sin is sin. There is no difference between lying or murder.
The first Commandment is we should not worship any other gods.
I believe thats major.
And rejecting Jesus.
