My cat loves the olives off a pizza. He won't touch the meat or nothing else. He basically jumps up next to me and sits there while I hand feed him the olives. So I always order extra olives on the pizza just so he gets his fill. Olives don't have much as far as being good for him, but I think the oils in them might keep his coat as shiny as it is. Maybe, I should change his name to Oliver?? He wouldn't care what I call him as long as I don't call him late for dinner!

We have 2 cats and they literally eat anything! When I was pregnant I ordered my self a really hot vindaloo to speed things up a bit. When I was full I put the plate on the floor - the cats automatically consider it theirs when it touches the floor and they started eating it. I hadn't noticed until the older of the 2 started sneezing and the curry was coming out of his nose. The younger one, who was a kitten at the time kept making a funny noise and jerking her head to one side - a bit like in Dumb and Dumber, when the police officer drinks the pee from the bottle. It was so funny - I thought I was going to give birth right there and then. The crazy thing is, after a drink they went back for more and even raided the bin for the left-overs!! lol

I would NEVER purposely give my cat chocolate (as it can be lethal) but when I started drinking chocolate Slimfast shakes she took one lick off the top of the can and was in love. Now, I literally have to lock her up to drink it. Otherwise, she is climbing all over me trying to get some. While I may be able to hold her back to drink it, I'm laughing too hard so it's just better to lock her up for five minutes.

Burt's Bees makes a carrot lotion. This same crazy cat will lick it off of me like it's fresh fish (or a slimfast shake). A couple of times she even bit me. I learned real quick not to put it on unless I was leaving the house immediately. And since I ran out, I haven't bought any more. The vet said this is weird but it probably wouldn't harm her.

My 3 year old cat Barney loves potato peel. He goes mental as soon as he hears anyone peeling a potato. He sits on a table and hooks the peel with his paw and gobbles it up real fast. Its probably massively unhealthy!!! He'll even scoop it out of the bin though. He also loves marshmallows (again not that he gets them very often at all!). He will whip one out of the bag when your not looking, he rolls it round the room licking the coating off, then lets the squidgy middle bit dry a bit, then he goes back later and finishes it off. He really doesn't like it when it sticks to his paws though. Our other two cats love salted nuts, sunflower seeds and especially raisins but Barney is not interested in them. Oooh and I just remembered the other two cats actually came from a cattery as kittens and they used to slurp up any cup of tea that was left lying around, no matter how hot or cold. They seem to have grown out of it now though - they must have learnt to drink the tea from the people who worked at the cattery?!

My mum used to have a cat that liked tinned tomatoes. My Maine Coon likes crisps - he likes to look inside the bag and find one he wants then sticks his paw in and pulls out a crisp with his claw! His favourites are Beef Hula Hoops and Tesco own Cheeseballs - it's definitely not good for him (because of the fat and salt content) but he's not allowed anymore as he's on a special diet for an allergy and he's not supposed to eat ANYTHING apart from that (he still catches mice outside but he's so soft he usually lets them go and watches them run away!)

Hello,
All these answers are so sweet, I adore cats! Well my cats weirdest snack was a moth, well moths she loves them! The other night she was sat on the driveway and a moth came fluttering past and she didnt even flinch! Then as the moth flew past her she swatted it straight into her mouth and ate it as if that was normal for her to swat moths! It was hilarious! I wish I could have caught it on film! I dont think it would harm her but who knows what she eats when she isnt at home!

Well, I have a little russian blue that loves, loves, loves lettuce. He walks right up to my salad and grabs a piece. Though if I give him one he is not happy. He has to pick it out himself, lol. He also likes to eat the feathers that occasionally come out of our pillows.
My siamese Eli likes vegetable soup. He will not eat ice cream but he loves to have some vegetable soup, lol.
My oldest kitty has a thing for alcohol. Let me say that I DO NOT give him any alcohol at all, but he has been caught drinking out of a glass of wine or a glass of cognac in the past. And he gave me a dirty look when I took it away from him, lol. This same kitty also likes chex mix, most soups, and frozen fruit bars. :)
Neither my siamese, or my oldest kitty will touch any sort of meat. They are obviously vegetarian.:)
I am not sure if the people food is healthy for them or not. I know for certain that the alcohol is not, that is why I have to tell people to watch their drinks when they come over, lol. I think that a little people food from time to time cannot possibly be all that bad for them. They eat the same food every day, it must get rather boring for them.;)

My cat doesn't seem to eat anything out of the ordinary.... but... someone I know has a cat, Theo, who goes crazy for scones and Greek yogurt. She has the funniest video clip on her camera. Theo was trying to get the scone out of a brown paper bag and ended up with it on his head.
And whenever I'm at her house, he's climbing from the table to the toaster (perched very precariously on a shelf) to the sink to the counter just to get to her yogurt! It's the funniest thing... and he's about 16 years old! He's not exactly young...

Carrot! It is not so weird, but I never expected it of my cat, because he doesn't eat anything that isn't meat or cat food, and even with those he is very particular. But he does eat carrot if it is boiled together and mixed with his chicken!
He also likes cake crumbs and he licks my dish when I have eaten a tomato salad, and there is olive oil mixed with tomato juice on the plate!

I'd forgotten about the earwax thing. I had a cat that used to lick my ears for the earwax.

Same cat also went bonkers for cream of mushroom soup. She wasn't interested in any other flavour, but my normally cautious cat would stick her whole head in a cup to lick the last bits of cream of mushroom out of the bottom!!
