A man with integrity and dignity would have resigned much earlier when he realized that his presence is hurting his country.

A decent human being with some honor and love for his county would have resigned right after the report.

but again we are talking about Olmert... so dont expect him to resign.

Now if the Knesset had any integrity they would call for a vote of no confidence today, but again dont expect that either.

The thing that distresses me the most about Mr. Olmert is that when he was the Mayor of Jerusalem, he said that Jerusalem would NOT be divided (if he could stop it). Now he can stop it but .....................
I am not Jewish myself (but I am VERY SUPPORTIVE of the Jewish People and of Israel ) so I probably should not venture an answer on this at all but I wonder if "Benny" would be more ready to lead Israel now.
No matter what, I want to see a strong government in Israel and one that the people support.

Yes, because of poor handling of the war and also for the scandalous corruption cases.

From polls it looks like most Israelis agree.

would it be better if his populaity halved or doubled
lets face it double is four
halved is one
he has shamed his own [gods people]
he got elected on a peace platform
then his first act was to lose face in a dumb war fought badly
what you think we should give him the world bank?
