What is your point? Sounds like you are trying more to be sarcastic than actually ask a valid question.

Men are spiritual leaders in the Church. That's the way God set it up. He has different roles for men and women but all roles are EQUALLY valued and important.

Wrong! On two counts. Jesus for the majority of his life, is like his Father a spirit creature. They are neither male or female. The 12 apostles, were male during their earthly lives true; but after their resurrection to heavenly life, also spirit.

You labor under a problem with modern language, some consider it a problem. The only words we have describe males and females and it. You don't call someone bigger than you an it. Elementery school taught you that.

"It" is fine for most things since the problem does not come up that often. So the rule is, if you are not sure which term to use, go with masculine. You appear to be too sensitive about the subject. It is just a rule of language, that is all.

Still in the Bible - Wisdom, who was with God at the creation, is female - many of the heroic figures in the Old Testament are women - the single person responsible for bringing Christ into the world was female - the first person Christ appeared to after the Resurrection was female - in the Gospel of Luke, every story about a man is parallelled with one about a woman.

Given the culture and the time in which much of the Bible was written, that there is a male dominance is not unexpected. But the text is surprisingly balanced (especially when you read it in the original languages, not in translation)

Yes there is a pattern, If you read in the Bible, Man is head over the woman in spiritual teaching and the Church is head over the man and Jesus Christ our Lord is head over the Church. Now if God used a woman to write any part of the Bible that would be going against His own order of how things should be done. Just another confirmation that the Bible is true. Praise Jesus !!! Take care and may God bless you spiritually.

Well what about the Book of Ruth in the Bible? And also the number of female prophets? The pattern is that from the beginning God designed man to be the priest of the house and the woman to be the priestest. The woman should be the help mate of the male and they should coexist and aid each other.

You are talking about the bible, in Hinduism there is a male form and a female form called goddess. Both are treated equal and yes even men worship goddesses.

God, is all pervading, Omniscient, Omnipresent.
God cannot have a gender.God is beyond such material beliefs. God is beyond anything that we humans think of like gender, height, weight, color, caste, religion, age,rich/poor etc.
God is The Almighty and Supreme.

It is not a coincidence . . . the male is held responsible . . . did you not notice that Adam was held responsible for Eve's sin?

It is about Responsibility . . . something our 'new' world is becoming less and less interested in . . .

God the Father is the Head of Christ
Christ is the head of the Man
The Man is the head of the family

It is system . . . not a pattern

A coincidence of what-that men feature predominantly more in the bible than women?
What exactly is your point?
Your point, whatever it is, is lame.

Also I loved it when you wrote "...the stars in the bible".

I see a pattern that you dont or have never read the Bible. I see a pattern in your thinking process, that says you don't want to understand you just want to mis-align and criticize. I see a pattern in your lack of faith in God. I see a pattern in your spelling that you cannot capitalize proper names. I see a pattern you are also disrespectful.

Did I see the patterns or did I miss some?
