Just what we needed now--another blood libel.

Even the Pope knows that this is nonsense.

That's a curious statement, especially since there is a large sect of fundamental Christendom that is anything but "pro-Israel" in fact we call them anti-Semites. Of course they're nothing but Bigots.
AND,
You really are talking about two different Israels.

"Christians" consider Christ to be the Messiah, of the Torah.
That means, we are Jews (starting with just 3, and a very bright star) that believed the God of Abraham, and Issac, and Moses, had indeed sent the Messiah as promised in the Torah. (the Old Testament)

The Pharisees did not, (see it that way.) And so Zion, splits.

It was not the elders in Jerusalem that had the final say.
In fact, they wimped out, and ordered the "governor of Judea, Pontius Pilate, to convict and execute.
Even HE, was so vexed at the notion of crucifying this Nazarene, that he told Emperor Tiberius, the ruler of all of Rome, that he "washes his hands" of this matter.

So it was left to the Roman Emperor Tiberius Claudius Nero Caesar Augustus. (son in-law and successor to the great Julius Caesar Octavianus)

Rome, ordered the sacrifice of Jesus of Nazareth.
Being that it took place in Canaan, and everyone around happened to be Jews, one would surmise the executioner probably would be Jewish.
.. But the Elders of the the Church themselves had already been dealt out of it.

Besides, the Torah spoke of the Messiah, it didn't foretell the end of the Religion.
the Church, itself.

Oops, my bad. Yes, it did. That was the whole destruction of the Temple part, but that's a whole different issue. =)

When it comes down to it, what is going on with Israel and Palestine, now is the same as what was going on with Israel and Palestine then, and has nothing (Biblically) to do with Christians. Nor Romans for that matter.

Point is, the church of Israel (Biblically speaking) is no more or no less responsible for executing my Savior, than were the Holy Romans. (BIBLICALLY speaking)

The main reason has nothing to do with religion.
In 1948, after WWII, USA was the chief planner in the creation of the state of Israel. We decided that Palestinians shouldn't live in Palestine, because the Jewish people of GERMANY (and Europe) had just gone through a terrible ordeal.
If the US admits that what they created was a bad thing, then they would have to take responsibility for the Palestinians' plight as well.
It's easier for the US to be "right" and say that despite the slaughter and outright oppression of millions, Israel is good because they made it. As for the people who rightfully lived there before the US kicked them out? Well, it's easy to justify their suffering if they're terrorists, right? Especially the newborn children... aren't Muslim infants the most evil creatures on the planet?

It just goes to show that even with a high amount "evangelicalism" in the government, none of them actually listen, nor attempt to even try and do what they preach. Words are so much easier to spout than actions are to take.

I guess causing an entire subculture of great suffering is the "right" thing to do, and because the politicians say so, it must also be what God wants. We shouldn't question our government, because they have the plan, and they are divine.

Isn't that why we have the 2nd amendment?

they are hoping very badly that finally the Dome of the Rock would be destroyed and the Jewish Temple rebuilt. If fact, it fairly is the only reason Israel replaced into given back to the Jews interior the 1st place. those Evangelicals have confidence that when the temple is rebuilt, the top of the worldwide will happen, and those dudes are basically death to get it began. sooner or later, the disciples asked Jesus while the top of the worldwide replaced into going to happen, and Jesus stated "Oh, there will be signs and indicators. See that tree over there? while the leaves fall off, you be conscious of the seasons changing." by some ability, this replaced into taken to signify that Jesus replaced into conversing regarding the temple, and being destroyed and rebuilt such particularly some situations( i think of three, yet i'm slightly rusty) and then God will come down and suck up all those Evangelicals.

Look at how history has treated the jews......

Jews aren't the only ones who've been shafted by history. But since they are the "chosen" people of YHWH.....christians feel the need to protect them.

How many native americans have been killed? The jews are still around and quite plentiful. When's the last time you saw a native american in real life? Hardly ever if you don't live in the midwest.

American gov't is so pro'isreal because of AIPAC and all its lobbying it does.

The Jews did not kill Jesus, the Romans did. Also, christians understand that the jews are still the chosen people of God and that it is through them and the restoration of Israel that Jesus will return again. Finally, the compassionate christian looks at how history has treated the jewish people and stands as their defender.

Christians believe in forgiveness. Even though historically Jesus was killed by some Jewish religious leaders, He Himself forgave them (see source below), and since we follow Him, we should forgive them also. Some Christians may have other reasons for being pro-Israel, but whatever the reason for this support, we shouldn't by any means them. God loves them as much as he loves Christians.
By the way, I'm not so sure about George Bush being a Christian. He probably just puts on the appearance to get the conservative Christian right to vote for him. He does have a trigger finger, though, so who knows.

If you understand this about Jesus: He gave his life, so that others can 'live'. I put live in quotes because there is a double meaning to that word 'live'. He means life eternally with God, not necessarily life here on Earth in the current body.

Here are a few quotes from Jesus that are in context to your question:
John 12:7 "Leave her alone," Jesus replied. " It was intended that she should save this perfume for the day of my burial.
8 You will always have the poor among you, but you will not always have me."

Matthew 26:2 Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.

John 10:11 "I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

In other words, Jesus called it. He said that he would lay his life down. The reason why this was all situated around the Passover is because he is the Passover, it was a lamb from Exodus which was sacrificed in order to escape God's wrath back then, and it was telling of the Lamb of God that would come to be sacrificed for all the world.

So the Jews that were in charge of the temple were the ones who were instigators of Jesus's death, but ALL Jews were to be blamed, they were just playing the role that God foresaw. Jews couldn't have killed Jesus if Jesus didn't want to lay his life down vicariously.

Your question is a rather weak and pathetic attempt at bashing President Bush and all Christians.
Christians believe the Bible and (look up Genesis ch12 vs 3) and read it. God is quoted as saying " those that bless Israel I will bless those that curse Israel I will curse."
A basic doctrine of Islam is to curse Israel
Now let me ask you a question sense you like to bash Israel can you name an Islamic country that you think would be a wonderful place to live?

You'll be happy to learn that no Jews were involved in killing Jesus. Not today's Jews and not historic Jews.

It was the Romans.

Now will Fatty stop hating Jews? I hope so.

Because everyone (well at least almost everyone) knows that the Romans did it! Oh, and in the OT G-d says that He'd curse those who curse His chosen ones...now George wouldn't want to be cursed now would he!?
